My college experience

As I said, Never Expect anything. Everything depends upon the way you handle things. I'd like to give a effortless tip. To score good in Internals study from Teacher's notes, and from books for externals. And always try to maintain a friendly behaviour towards the faculties.

I did not write any entrance exam .As they are on two colleges for Mechanics engineering in Bangalore and oxford college was near to me.So i joined oxford college through management seat.There was no interview process was followed in oxford college.I was interested in Robotics and automation,and more interested in mechanical and electronics part so this made me to choose me Mechanics

My course(BE Mechatronics) was ok ok but syllabus we had was little bit outdated.There is very less practical learning, only 5% of the each semester includes practical learning. Even then, what you mostly learn is less helpful in real world. Yeah there is a research center in our college in electronics and communication departement.Even i am working under research center ,it is really good.

College does not provide any internship,we should find out internship by ourself,but this time they are planning to have internship in coming holidays ,internship on lab view software.As i have not done any internship ,i dont have much experinece on it

I dono much about the placements as i am 3rd year of BE mechatronics,but just few days back my seniors had placement in some IT company and no body got selected in it as we dono much about programming.HP,Tech mahindra and many IT companies visited our campus,i dono much about average package as no one got selected from our branch

Our college is like boring college,we have dont have good fest,but many of the techinal events are conduted in our college like science exhibition,maths exhibition,now they are conducting painting,quiz and project expo competetion for studnets,Even we have workshop based on arduino from IEEE department.We dont have more cultural events.They organize well all the .I dono uch about it college authorities contribute or not

My College fees was more as i joined through management seat but it was not so affordable.My college fees was 1,75,000/- rupees per year but cet fees was only 45000 with that college fees for cet students was only 12,000/- rupees.My college fees inculdes library fees,id card fees,but for exam we should only pay our fees

I dono whether the college provide any scholarship because i haven't applied for any scholarship till now,but have seen notice about scholarship on the notice board and sometimes they will inform in class about scholarship.Yeah help in getting education loan through banks,i dono much about it,but they need fees structure,aadhar card.. etc to apply for education loan

In our college we have little bit of extracurriculars activity,so we get opportunities to explore our inner talent,like we have many competition where we can explore our inner talent,some times we dont permission to participate in other college competiton.Faculties were good and helped a lot so we can show our inner talent

I dont stay in hostel,i reside in hosur with my family,but my friends resides in hostel,they have paid 70,000/- rupees per year for the hostel which inculde food too,hostel rooms were good not so tidy,it was neat and clean,they even got study tables to study for exam.There was no single rooms ,only sharing rooms,2-3 members in 1 hostel rooms,college dont have any PG,but near our college they are lot of PG where students can reside,PG fees is 5000/- per month with food,wifi,tv.Food was good as told by my friend,not a problem,but some of the PG dont have good food ,told by my friends

I don't have more details about alumni network and i have not seen any alumni network in our collge ,but we have alumni in our college

Labs were very easy to do,but equipment in the lab are not in good condition ,so some times problems occurs during exams,exams where easy not so difficult,if u study well,then we can do well exams,so exams and labs very frequent don't make feel tired at the end of the day.It was chill culture

Faculties had around 2 years of experience and qualified Mtech .Teaching was very good,it depends on our interest also,some teachers in our department give practical knowledge tooo.Teachers are very much interactive with us,if we wont understand that particular concept they will explain us again or they will tell to come later they will explain it.Standard of teaching was good,they would like to teach us in practical way,so my teaching experience was good.
