Every college has positive and negative things. Sathyabama university makes me strong in my core subject and provided opportunities to participate in extra curricular activities. The infrastructure should be improved in the college and many trees should be planted. Lack of trees in the campus makes summer annoying. The staffs in my college encouraged me in participating in extra curricular activities and they will help if any one have doubt's.

I wrote Sathyabama entrance exam and there was no interview process .There was counselling process according to ranking.The course that I chose was Electronics and communication Engineering.I selected this college because of their affordable fees and placement records . I preferred ECE department as it has more scope in future.

The course that I chose was ece and the teaching is good in our college. Not much focus is given for practical learning though we have regular practical classes. We have international research centre in our campus in which many research initiatives are done but I think no ug students are involved in research. Elective subjects are available.

Till now our college did not provide any internship and I don't know whether they will provide it or not. But I did one internship from a company. It was actually a very nice experience to do an internship where you will learn new things. I did not get any stipend for the internship

Placements are good in our college. But placement percentage is decreasing year by year. Only few students get placed in core companies. Many of the students are getting placed in service based IT companies. The average salary is about 3.5-4.0 lakhs per annum. Our college also provides training for placements, CAT exam, GRE exam.

Our college organise many events and workshops. But there are no big events organised in our college. Even culturals was also not that good and it was for only one day. There are many small events that takes place in our college, we have to pay to participate in the events.

The fee was affordable for me and it is low when compared to other deemed universities in Chennai. The fee I paid was 2,75,000. This amount includes college fee and hostel fee. Our college give free transportation and food to day scholars. Our college provides free education to some scholarship students

College did not provide me any scholarship as I was not eligible but some of friends got scholarship. Remibai Jeppiar Scholarship is provided to top rank holders in university exams and entrance exams conducted by the college. Acid attack victims, physically challenged students also study in our college.

Yes I am residing in hostel. Rooms are always shared by many students. Hostel fee is 60,000 per year. Actually rooms are comfortable but food is not good. i had to compromise with the food to adapt in the hostel. Food provided in college is better than hostel food.

Actually I love practicals so I don't feel tired of practical sessions.But theory exams are boring and irritating to me. But no way to escape from exams being a student, i have to face it.

The minimum qualification required to join our college as a staff is M.E/M.Tech.Some of the staffs have done Ph.D . Our staffs have good experience in teaching. The staffs are very interactive and friendly with us. Some times we have to see their strict faces when we don't abide the rules. The standard of teaching is good.
