College must emphasis on developing carrier of students by providing better facility.Professors are talented. They impart a good knowledge but as an engineering practical knowledge is below expectation. Here quote 'HEALTHY MIND LIVES IN HEALTHY BODY' is not have any value since lack of play grounds for other than college teams.

I written Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main exam. After qualifying the exam taken part in admission process conducted by JoSAA. In admission process I opted mechanical engineering in NIT JAMSHEDPUR and hence I landed here. No, there was no any interview process that was followed. I belongs to a farmer family. So I grow up seeing my Parents doing hard labour from then only I decided to improve technology and decided to opt engineering. Since I was much familiar with machines like pumpset so I took mechanical engineering.

It is too good here placement is also above average. Professors are talented but we lack better practical knowledge. Ojass a techno fest is conducted here. But environment is favorable to think out of box.

No college didn't provide any internship. We have to apply to company near by like Tata motors etc or any other companies for the internship.

Placement is good but it varies branch by branch. CSE students get 98 to 99% placement while for mechanical engineering it is about 70%. Tata motors, tata steel, Tata metallics , Oracle , Amazon etc. are major companies that visited the campus. Average package for mechanical is 5lac.

OJASS is technical, CULFEST is the cultural fest organised in the campus. It is big enough. Many colleges participate in these. It is organised nicely and college authorities also contribute for these.

Here tuition fee is nil for SC and ST students other than that it also nil for those students whose family income is less than or equal to 1 lac rupees. I belong to SC category so my tuition fee is nil. Other than that I pay 33000 rupees as mess fee and 41000 rupees as institution fee. That's come to be 74000 yearly. So it toughly affordable for a student from farmer background.

No till now I am not getting any scholarship. I filled the scholarship application form for NSP and Tata Cummins. But I didn't get scholarship from anywhere NSP scholarship is too tough without laptop and buying laptop is too tough for me. And I had a great hope from Tata Cummins. College lack better sports facilities. College campus area is wide but little in use. Grounds and courts are too less in number. It also lack physical exercise equipment. I got opportunity in athletic to explore my inner talent. I also got position in marathan. But I miss playing volleyball and football.

Yes I am residing in hostel. It is single room for all students now, earlier all first year andsecond year students were sharing rooms by three or four members. I pay 30000 yearly for hostel. In first year food was good but with the change of mess contractor in second year food quality has degraded.

Yes college provide a remarkable platform for student-alumni interaction. College invites alumni on some occasions. Alumni also contribute in development of the college technical teams and fests.

Labs are interesting and we enjoy it. But exam is is too frequent. Instead of three examination s in a semester there must be two mid and end semester. In addition to that college must emphasis on projects that can improve practical knowledge.

Almost all are post graduated. Some of them have done Phd. They are having good knowledge of their subjects. They teach as professionals. They are interactive but once again we got stuck to theories only without knowing it's application.
