Remarks
Sathyabama is a place where you can enjoy and study. Exams are bit stressfull. There are many extra curricular activities going on in the college where you can explore your inner talent. The washing of plates in the mess is not upto the standard and the food they provide has less salt,spices etc. These should be taken care by the management. I enjoy studying in sathyabama university where they provide quality education along with a lot of extra curricular activities.They also provide a lot of scholarships for the people who are unable to afford but are passionate to study. Many of my friends are scholarship students including me.
Entrance Preview
All India BE/B.Tech/B.Arch entrance examination was conducted by sathyabama university. I attended offline exam and was called for counselling.I got the course which I chose.There was no interview involved in the admission process.There are even many courses like B.Com,BBA,MBA,etc..They are trying to planning to start many more courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I selected was ECE. There are regular practical classes but it does not involve a lot of practical learning.Elective subjects are also available.We have International Research Centre and Dr.Jeppiar's Research institute were research initiatives are done and for many researches patents were also provided
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide any internship to BE students but it is compulsory for all the students to complete atleast one internship from a company and submit the report during third year.They are trying to put as many as internships possible for making the students to get exposed to the industrial world.
Placement Experience
The placements are good in our college Nearly ninety percent of the eligible students get placed because of the placement training.Major companies that come to our college are Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Capegemini etc.Our placement co-ordinator is Mr.John Bruise and we are lucky to have him as our placement co-ordinator.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are bit high.It is tough for a middle class family to afford.It is about one lakh ninety thousand per year. Hostel fee is sixty thousand per annum.Transportation and mess food in college is free of cost.The current first year students pay nearly two lakhs ten thousand lakhs ten thousand per year as tuition fee and sixty thousand as hostel fee.
Faculty
The faculties are experienced persons with deep knowledge in their domain.Most of them have done their Ph.D and many of the staffs are still persuing it.They are jovial and guide us in our project works.The standard of teaching is also good but i feel that it could be enhanced and the management should take care of it
