Course Curriculum Overview
I selected this course as i wanted to have a strong computer science foundation for further going into good companies The faculty to students ratio is good there were 1 teacher behind every 15 students The faculty is mostly phd holders and senior professor which hold multiple titles and have published reasearch paper's but they are not much interested in teaching and doesn't provide good guidance to students The exams were timely and they were of medium difficulty level all the students were able to pass
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for msc in computer science was 15k per year but the course quality and teaching faculty doesn't help us in excelling in our skills I had not applied to any scholarship but other students received the scholarship according to their eligibility Only 2 people got a on campus job with 20k stipend out of all the departments 120 students
Campus Life
Their were many events organised within the canpus like independence day and a AI conference also some cultural events were celebrated in campus but not much helpful to students in any way The campus has a big Library at the centre with tons of books available. The Libraty is clean and has good space and overall environment. Classrooms were big had fans and lights also have projectors and the computer labs were also updated with latest computers Not much sports or extra curricular activities were happening in campus there was just one poster presentation event that had happened Nothing like clubs or website run by students they were not much active
Admission
We we're only eligible if have a computer science background in our bachelor's degree and the cut off was based on the marks scored in computer science subject The application form and other details can be found on the official website of the university ww.srtmun.ac.in I have bot availed any reservation benefits but the university does provide all kinds of benefits to its students The admission process should be online and there were very long queues to pay the fees which could laso have been fone online
