Remarks

NIT Jalandhar is a great place to be to pursue higher degree for any student. My overall experience is good till now.

Through GATE 2017. Counselling was taken before admission. I wanted higher degree so I chose M.tech.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is really good. Lot of focus is laid was on Practical Learning through labs,workshops and smart classes. No Research Initiatives are taken by the Institute but students can take up on their own.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide any internship. Although internship can be availed from different companies. The average stipend amount varies from company to company.

Placement Experience

The placement percentage is around 60-70%. Major companies are Capgemini , Infosys etc. Average package offered is around 3lac .

College Events

Many technical, cultural and managerial fests are organized in the campus such as Movie club, photography club, Music and Dramatics Society, Utkansh- Cultural fest, Bharat Dhwani. The college authorities and students contribute actively for such events.

Alumni meets are organised yearly. Great alumni network. Highly interactive and helpful.

Exam Structure

Exams were taken monthly in form of sessionals and semester end exams also. Labs are there on alternate days.

Faculty

The professors are very much qualified and experienced. Classes are interactive and meaningful. The standard of teaching is very good.

4 Placement Experience:

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

if there are no backlogs student first gets a chance to be placed at a good company as an intern after 2 sem internship usually is for 3 & 4 sem. College makes sure you get a great company with high stipend and ppo offer also. after the internship completion either the student get placed at the same company or the placement drive also begins from 3 sem only where you can apply and get interviews with the organization

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
