Nice. enjoying in National Institute of Engineering

College is good with best faculties but exams are too stick. feeling good about college. National college of engineering is the best college on Karnataka where a students can pursue his engineering and students can also excel in their talents since this college gives a ample number of opportunities for the students to do the same.

I got into this college through the Common entrance exam which is conducted by the karnataka examinations authority, no interview process was taken. According to my ranking i got this college and i had also heard about NIE before only that it was a nice college so i gave this college in my option entry I choose civil engineering, as it takes creativity and I found it interesting this is one more reason to be in this college

Civil branch is interesting and we are good practical knowledge and research works are undertaken, As we all know even if we want to build something or you want to plan something to build then we are the one for whom the world looks out for. We have good labs like geothermal, environmental science etc; the practical learning is given much importance in this college.

For 3rd year students they offer internship through college. Sometimes students themselves have to search for the internships while some companies offer internships to the students when they come to our college. Sometimes the companies also conduct aptitude test to hire the students for internship.

Only final years have placement things. placement percentage is above 80% i don't know about companies and avg package is about 3lakhs. There are lots of companies coming for placement they are infosys, ebay,marine merchants etc; The students have to undergo lots of stages like aptitude, technicality hr interview to get hired for that particular company.

Tech fest are conducted by branch and also by college in campus and off campus quite big with all facilities

Since I got in through CET my fees was pretty much less that is just 24000INR per year, compared to other colleges it's quite cheap and affordable. IN mysore this college has got a good name. Some more additional fees is taken for the extra curricular internet fees etc; this fees keeps on varying early.

Government scholarships are given and i take it through college....epass scholarship

Rent rooms 3000 per month. There is one sharing, two sharing, three sharing and four sharing rooms.

Every month we undertake exams we have five internals out of which two are theoretical and other two are the one which involves projects, quiz , seminar etc;

All faculties are p.hd holders with good teaching and field experience. As i said this college has a good name in mysore the faculties here are pretty much good and they are friendly in nature. They have enough knowledge (practical knowledge) which they convey the same to the students. They are pretty much interactive with the students, The standard of teaching is very good and rarely the freshers are hired only the experienced faculties are hired.
