I would say Sathyabama university is the best with my experience in it.

Sathyabama University is a lovable place to study. I enjoy studying here. The staffs are very supportive, Sathyabama university provides utmost security. There is no ragging in our college.When it comes to infrastructure it can be improved. The under water drainage system should be improved a lot as we are facing lot of consequences. I cherished each and every day in this college. It is the place from where I gained a lot of confidence.

In order to get admission in sathyabama university, I wrote a national level entrance exam.The application fee was 1000 rupees. I wrote online mode of examination. This college was suggested by my teachers so I choose this college. Based on the marks scored in entrance exam and through counselling process I got admission in ECE department.

The department I choose was electronics and communication. I chose this department because I can get job in hardware or software fields and from a core company or IT company. ECE department has many job opportunities. The course curriculum is designed by qualified staffs and when it comes to practical learning your own interest will only drive you towards success. Electives are also available in our college during 3rd and 4th year.

Internships are not provided in college. we have to do internship from any good company. Internship was like a theory class with practical sessions. i gained knowledge about different technology.Stipend was not given. None of my friends got stipend, actually we paid money to get internship from the company.

Actually when I joined the college placement scenario was good. But nowadays placement percentage is decreasing year by year. Nearly 85-90% of eligible students get placed but the number of eligible students are less. Placement training gives more importance to IT companies. Major recruiters are capegemini, Tech mahindra, wipro ,cognizant.

The fees are comparatively less when compared to other deemed universities. The fee is about 1,90,000 per year and the hostel fee is 60,000 per year. Totally we pay 2,50,000 per year. The lunch, breakfast and transportation are free for day scholars. Apart from these you have to pay for placement training which will be around 8,000-10,000.

Our university provides scholarship to top rank holders, physically challenged and underprivileged students. Students from foundations such as agaram ,maatram are studying in our college without any fee. College helps you in availing loans but it a lengthy tiresome procedure to a loan approved from a bank.

Of course, we have frequents labs and exams. For one semester we have to write two continuous assessment exam, model practical exams, university practical exams, and finally semester exams. It is completely tiresome process.

All the faculties in our college have completed atleast their masters. Many of them have completed their doctrates and the others are persuing it. Many of the staffs in our college are graduated in from our university itself so they are able to understand the problems faced by us and help us. They are very interactive and they support us a lot.
