AMU's Engineering College: ZHCET - Finest Review

I chose the course because it was good, affordable and a good faculty students ratio which is 1:8 (a faculty for each 8 students). Most of the faculties are PHD and Post Docs From IITs and foreign universities. Their discipline and Teaching styles are at the next level. Teacherd are all regular in the class and they teach during entire lecture period. Teachers are also very supportive in terms of doubt solving, mentorship and carrier counselling. In each semester we have three examinations namely: Internal Exam I, Internal Exam II and Final Exam. After one and half months of commencement of the semester, internal exam I starts and it gets completed in 6 days from Monday to Saturday (a exam a day) in which first one and half units are asked. After the next half and one months comes the Internal Exam II, in which the next half and one units are asked. The weightge of each internal exam is 25 marks. The best from each internal exam is added in final end sem exam of 60 marks + 15M assignme

Analog devices Google, Ziya Semiconductor, LnT, etc... offer internships with or without stipend. We can do our own projects of interest by joining clubs... otherwise we have projects in our curriculum at higher semesters.

From semster 6 or 7 students become eligible for campus placements... The companies that come include Amazon, LnT, Ziya Semiconductors, Analog Devices Highest package: Ayan Khan (2022) 1.23 Crores, SDE Amazon. Highest Package in ECE: Zaid Akhter (2023) 17 LPA Analog Devices. Average package varies between 4-5 Lpa but ROI Is phenomenal. Selection percentage is more than 25% to the best of my knowledge. As such their is no fees hike policy. In the first year we have paid a one time tuition fee which was ?21140 (except newly introduced branches like Food Technology ?38140, AI ?66140 and Automobile ?66140) including ?2500 per year as annual hostel fees. Students apply national Scholorships/ state scholarships. Apart from that, College alumnis also offer multiple Scholorships like Lead Ignite Scholorship, AMU Association Washington DC Scholorship, AMU Alumni Association at Michigan UK, AMUSSGSA which offer financial assistance to masters or PhD in foreign universities.

The Aligarh Muslim University Also Celebrates Its Annual Fest On Sir Syed Day (Founder Of AMU) which occurs on 17th October each year and lasts upto 19th October. The Zakir Husain College Of Engineering And Technology celebrates its Annual Technical Fest Called ZARF in the beginning of March each year. Apart from that Almost all clubs and societies in ZHCET celebrate their own technical fest. Since I'm member of AMURoboclub and I know that AMURoboclub celebrates its annual fest as VERCERA each year just after or around ZARF. AMU Has its own Maulana Azad National Library which is opened each day except festival days. Student can come to library and take book from their just by showing I'd cards and return it before leaving. Student can also make AMU Library Card and issue Two books at at time for 15 days. Apart from that, The Engineering College ZHCET has its own Book Bank where students can go, sit and study there also. Student can show I'd card, take book, study there, and leave.....

Most of the rooms are well lit, air conditioned, equiped with smart classes, projector and smart board also. Students have 24X7 free high speed WIFI service almost everywhere inside University campus. The hostel fascility is also good. The fresher students have to live in PG for 2 semesters where 12-15 students live in a big rooms called ANNEXEs. Initially new students fee awkward while coming to ANNEXEs but believe me that's the best place where we interact with many people 24x7. Students are very supportive to each other and everyone becomes good friends soon. Students study each other, go to hostel Reading Room which is well lit, wifi enabled, ac equiped, table and chair fully furnished along with their friends or alone or go to library to study. The monthly mess is just ?1400+?250-300=?1650-1700 per month which the cheapest mess all across the world. The mess has both veg and non veg options. food is served according to weekly menu. The Application Process begins with Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) on its official website amu.ac.in. Exams are conducted in cities like Aligarh, Lucknow, Murshidabad, Mallapuram etc.. in which students are selected according to their rank, their branch preference and branch cutoffs. The number of intakes in various branches are: Computer Engineering (60), Artificial Intelligence (25), Electronics (60), Electrical (60), Mechanical (80), Automobile (25), Civil (60), Chemical (25), Petrochemical (25), Food Technology (25).
