The short story of college life with agriculture in The Neotia University (TNU).

Being a good student in Biology and also love the nature study and also living in a village areas I had choosed the stream of B.Sc(hons) in Agriculture. The faculty: students ratio was nice very friendly in manner. Our faculty professor and staff qualification was PhD or MSC in different streams. The professors was some time friendly and sometimes in very rude ,but teaches and take the practical classes experiments proper way. The technique of teaching with projector and practicing by hand and saying that way is very impressive. There are 3 exams in a semester, two mid term of 15 and 25 numbers that's called internal exam and the external exam for 50 marks with practical exams, viva assignments etc . In 4 sem to 6 th sem there was 8 to 12 subject it was very difficult to study and remind all the things and write it in a limited time . Some how I passed all the subjects and all the semesters !!

There are different places for agriculture intership programme like bolpur, kochbihar, mursidabad,nimpith kvk etc. we don't have any stipend during the internship period but we learn lots of practical things in nimpith kvk and chaitanya seeds. There are some projects like fisheries,soil management,waste management mushroom culture, different types of flowers cultivation in different seasons. All things I do in internship period and in a proper way I completed all my tasks and got the certificate from nimpith kvk and also in chaitanya seeds . Thank you.

From seven and eight semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like GMS agritech, chaitanya seeds,Ramoli Wipro,Byjus phonepe etc are hired in our campus by offline and online. Minimum of 5-6 numbers of companies who are offering students in a semester for job in our university. The highest package of salary at about 35,000rs for the students who passed the 8 th sem offered by the GMS agri- tech company,Byjus etc. 15%of students getting placement in our university. After completing the graduation i realised the situation of current job affairs and that's why I choose of digital online courses like digital marketing, IT solution and AI .

We have to pay about 42000rs per semesters by check or online payment method. There we can't take any extra time for managing the money to submit in accountant sir. If we r late we have to pay the extra fine charges with the semester fees. Theere are very different schoolarships kannyashri, vivekananda etc. The financial assistance is not good in behaviour. I don't get any job placement on campus with stipend. There are few students who got but with low salary packages. I don't interested on the campus placement. So I tried on online digital marketing coursees.

Impulse2k was the main annual fest of our university and it was conducted in the month of April season. There are different languages of books in different streams in library available. Yes there are two journalists in our university libary. The classroom was large and the seats are very much comfortable with led lights, fan, ac in practical room and the projector for study. Overall the class rooms are very good. There are sports tournament like cricket, football, basketball etc annually and also in mid season for inter hostel students. There are cultural programme agriculture mela organised by the faculty and the students of agriculture . We have some what's app group for passout students and clubs for art, singer and dancers.

Being a middle class students we all have a dream to study in a university and placement with a good salary packages. After completing H.S board exam and passed with 63 % of marks ,the eligibility of the course was students must scor scored 60% in Math , Biology and physics, Chemistry in science stream so I'm eligible for the candidate lists who can admission on the stream of B.sc (hons) in Agriculture . That's how I admission at The Neotia University in B.sc (hons) in Agricultur in 2019 .The very first day in the administrative building i got application form and the amount was 20000 ,date was12 July. I applied the application form very early of starting sem and also paid to University so my uid was booked in my stream and University also. I really want to see the improvement in University about the staff behaviour to a students and cooperation in payment process and give some time in bad times.Thank you!
