Likes
- Training for placements is the best. They hire external faculties to teach Coding, Problem Solving, Aptitude etc to all students
- Curriculum is covered in a steady pace and teachers rarely take off if you want to study you always cab approach any teacher.
Dislikes
- The strictness here is a bit annoying and fun killer.
- The usual class bunks and fun part as quite lacking due to discipline.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum focuses on all the major subjects for Computer Science which is required in case of jobs in IT field. The faculty focuses on all students and extra classes and even retest for those who couldn't perform well in internal exams.
Internships Opportunities
The highest package till now is from Palo Alto around 58 lpa package. Many companies visit such as Amazon and Microsoft which offer around 40-45 lpa but these companies hire very few students only if you're capable. Rest Capgemini, TCS and Accenture generally mass hires at around 4-5 lpa and many companies hire 4-10 students which has 8-12 lpa.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester, i.e. end of 3rd year, you are allowed to sit for placements or internships , many companies visit for on campus placement, even during inflation when many private colleges struggle, comparatively a lot of companies come in our campus of every range of package just work hard to utilise the opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is approx 150000/year. Along with this, the exam fees has to be given to AKTU every year which is around 7500. Rest many private hostels are available in nearby 2 km range and PGs also. But the college only has boys hostel and no girls hostel on campus.
Campus Life
The Fresher's party which is held every year is quite famous here, till now Jubin Nautiyal, Vishal Shekhar and Sunidhi Chauhan have done the concert in the Fresher's party. There's also annual Dandiya night and many small fests and contests keep happening.
Admission
The admission can either be direct through your CBSE or ICSE percentage or you can apply through UPTAC (AKTU BTech Counselling). The cutoff for CSE branch was around 90000 in JEE Main as of 2021. Within the 2-3 days of CBSE result, reach college for direct admission and the Counselling dates can be found online. Reservation benefits can be recieved if you take admission via Counseling and apply for scholarships.
