It is a good experience being a student in this college.

College can be improved in so many little ways. For example, students have to pay for parking their vehicles inside the campus which I feel is unnecessary and stupid. Overall experience is pretty good

I wrote COMED-K entrance exam. I landed in this college because my brothers had good experience in this college as they have studied there. Yes, there is an interview process with the Director or sometimes with The Principal of the college. Due to my never ending interest of learning advancements in Electrical & Electronics I chose this course.

Course has been going pretty good by now. One disadvantage is that the syllabus VTU provides is outdated. There is beyond the syllabus activities conducted which I can consider as Practical Learning. Yes, Research Initiatives are being done in the college by The Professor's in their respective Research and Development Labs.

As of now no. Maybe when I reach 4th Year I'd be doing an internship provided by the college. As of i have heard from seniors they are telling most of the times internship has to be done themselves by the students, college will just give a permission letter to do the internship in various other companies.

I have no experience about placement situations but what I've heard from seniors is that a good number of companies come for campus placements and a good number of students get placed. Companies like IBM, Tech Mahindra, TCS, L&T Infotech, Amazon Web Services, Indian Navy and many more come for campus placements.

'Tiara' is two day Inter-College Technical Fest organized by SJEC. Students from engineering colleges around the city participate in this Mega Event. 'Milan' is a mid-sem Cultural Event organized by SJEC for the Joint celebration of Onam and Nativity of Mary. The crowd was huge and can be further increased if the college invests more in such events.

Getting a seat through CET or COMED-K entrance exams it's quite affordable in this college but a Management quota seat is well beyond the reach of an average family. I paid a fees at around

Ah, this is were my college lacks. There are ample opportunities available but the Management allows only for those students who are studious in academics. Little do they know that everyone has got some unique talent and they need opportunities to explore them.

Yes, the college provides a proper platform for student-alumni interaction. HODs of some department call the alumni who are excelling for giving talks on Entrepreneurship and conducting workshops for nominal rates.

I'd say it is a chill nature when there are no labs during exams, but sadly we have labs in the afternoon session during internals.

The minimum qualification of the teachers are Masters but some are also P.hD holders. Some teachers are friendly and make it a good time being in the class while others need to keep up to it. The standard of teaching is better than what I've heard about the teaching standards from the students of other college's in my city.
