Review of my college

Infrastructure is best as i see among different colleges in nearby regions. The campus is so much aspiring that it automatically develops a bond with it.

I wrote JEE entrance exam. But i had taken direct admission to this college, provided student also get admission through jee mains and uptech entrances. No, there was not a particular interview but few questions were asked regarding my choice of stepping into engineering. My 12th class project pinged me and boosted my confidence towards electronics.

Being a part of an engineering college make me feel good. The course is not that much loaded with rocket science but yes sometimes tricky. The college was mainly focusing on theory in past years but now different initiatives were taken towards practical learning. Students are free to access any lab for there research work.

The college doesn't provide any internship, but they provide several summer training course in the campus only. The college believes in practical of students so provide training in different domains of coding, embedded systems, AutoCAD etc. I hadn't taken participation in training. No stipend.

The placements are improving year by year. The college placement staff are making there more and more efforts to provide ample job opportunities to the students. Every year around 70-80% students get on-campus placement. The major companies for this year who visited the campus are Grapecity, vividian, Nucleus software, Invecas, genpact. Average package is around 3lkh p.a.

The college organizes fest every year and also a freshers event. the fest lasts for 3 days. The footfall is good. The organization of the events and fest were very good and well maintained by the management.

The fees is not easily affordable, it is around 1.5lkh in first year including examination fee. And for rest 3 years it is around 1.2lkhs excluding the examination fee. Also extra fees for hostel and transport facilities.

Yes, the college provide scholarship to the students of all categories. No i didn't avail any scholarship. Yes, college provide help in getting loans. I didn't followed the process so don't know in detail.

In terms of extracurricular the college is very good. They organize different events and also participate in various national level competitions and give ample opportunities to the seeking ones. The students can explore and prove there talents in several ways. All the facilities for events are good and properly maintained by the college.

No, i am a local resident. But the college do provide the hostel facility. The rooms are available of both types single or sharing depending upon ones choice. Yes, there are PGs in nearby socieites but those are not in collaboration with the college. The food is average.

No there no such platform for student alumni Interaction up to my knowledge. The senior junior interaction is there via freshers. The alumni association participate in college development seminars.

No, exams and labs are scheduled in such a manner that it doesn't develop a feeling of bordem in students. There are 3 class tests and 2 sessionals per semester. It is a chill culture.

The faculties are highly qualified especially of the electronics department. Many of them had done there PhD in respective fields and many are pursuing the same. The lectures are very qualitatively driven, provided the notes are parallely available on the web portal. Overall the standard of teaching is excellent.
