Remarks
Situated near the sea side, the college life was fun. Overall wid the helpful faculty and the lovely culture, it was a very fun filled experience, with studies. Gonna miss the experience a lot.
Entrance Preview
There wasn't any entrance examination, it was based on my 12th score. I landed up in this college based on my marks. There wasn't any interview process, everything was based on merit. I was recommended by my teachers for this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was good. It was based on computer science, coding etc. Focus on practical learning was given based on the syllabus provided by Mumbai University. No there wasn't any research initiative yet.
Internships Opportunities
No the college didn't provide any internships. Generally the professors did guide us with some internship options, however it was based on students interest to go for it or no. The stipend amount was roughly around ₹500.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario wasnt much upto the mark. Around 30% students did get places. There wasn't any major companies came up for hiring, however some mid scale companies did turn up. The average package was around 2.5lac.
College Events
The festival were the big highlights of this college. It was a 3day event. There were mostly cultural and managerial festival which took place. Many tv celebrity also turned up for the cultural event. There were many competitions held. The footfall was huge. People from different colleges turned up. The college did provide lot of help in setting up the event
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was affordable, it was around 40k a year. So for a 3 year course it was around 1.2lac.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, the college didn't provide any scholarships yet. Yes the college does helps in getting loans for deserving students who can't afford all the amount at once.
Campus Life
There wasn't much extracurricular activities taking place. However guest lectures from industry experts, workshops on coding, related subjects, one or two field trips did help us a lot to learn with fun.
Hostel Facilities
No i wasn't residing in the hostel. Yes but got to know from friends, that the rooms were quite up to the mark. They provided sharing rooms to students, and it was a complete students only hostel with no PGs. The payment was around 35 k for a year. The food quality was okay.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni platform wasn't much up to the mark which was provided by the college. However the alumni did help the students a lot through social media interaction and meetups. Specially for the project work there was a lot of help provided by the alumni.
Exam Structure
There were two unit tests each semester. A lab session of 1 hour was conducted everyday on a particular subject. It was a mixed culture with fun and studies.
Faculty
The faculty were qualified as per the course standards. The professors were really interactive and guided us a lot. The standard of teaching is also very good.
