Remarks

It is surely a dream college for every student who want to excel high in academics as well as develop the overall personality. An extraordinary experience wearing a apron each day and that feeling of being a part of a noble profession like medicine cant be explained in words. And added to it is being a BJite. It just adds up to it.

Entrance Preview

MHT-CET 2016. There was no separate interview procedure. Having a family background of doctors made me choose this profession.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS is obviously a great course in itself. Foundation in the field of medicine. There is a huge scope for research in my institute. Many student get selected for ICMR projects. We also hold a national level medical conference called 'RESPIRARE' every year involving active participation from many colleges in India. Also many renowned doctors and thinkers come to guide the participants and delegates. Along with that many departments encourage their students for research, thus providing them the exposure by visiting foreign countries under the same. My institute also participate in the joint research work with College Of Engineering Pune (COEP), called 'MEDHA' held every year.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. The college does provide the internship as well as some externals also get admitted.

Placement Experience

5

There is no package and companies involved in MBBS. We have to clear another entrance exam to get a seat for Post-Graduation.

College Events

5

BJ has a great base for cultural. Every year 2nd year MBBS students organise and manage a cultural fest called 'Vedant'. Right from gathering the funds to the management the responsibility of the event is on the shoulders of the respective batch. There are seniors and some faculty members to guide and advise. We receive approx 2000-3000 registrations every year under sports, cultural and academic events. We also conduct Jagatik Marathi Din every year. Followed by college gathering. There are other events like Kavi sammelam, magazine inaugaration, cultural week, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It being the government college, the fee structure is really affordable. For open candidates (1st year):- Deposit= Rs. 10000 Tuition Fee= Rs. 70900 For candidates other than Open category Only deposit of Rs. 10000 is to be paid. Plus the can avail various scholarships

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many government scholarships for the students. Both meritorious as well as cast based. College also helps economically backward students

Campus Life

4

In the management of various events like Vedant, JaMaDi, annual gathering, etc we get to develop our personality and other extracurricular talents. Also we get a lot of exposure thorough various conferences that are being conducted frequently.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel fees are very minimal (Rs. 4000 per year). Rooms are on 4 sharing basis. Mess food is pretty good.

Exam Structure

Every month there are term end exams. And a terminal exam at the end of every term.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is well qualified. All the teaching staff is qualified to post- graduate level. They are MBBS graduates and have done post graduation in the respective subject.
