Still a startup

Our campus is full of greenery, gardens. A well equipped health centre is here. The only bad thing I had faced is in library. Their system is not so cooperative as I feel. But my overall experience of campus life is not as exciting and amazing as I thought but it is nice. And as I say earlier, it's just the starting......... As we heard a famous dialogue "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost...."

Admission is based on entrance exam. I got 8th rank in entrance & all India category seat is alloyed to me. Other perspectives also being considered here for seat allotment like DBT scholor, JNU scholor, entrance exam toppers and so on. But admission is just not merely based on rank. Instead of it, graduation marks, stream and other aspects are also considered. I choose this university because it's a science and technology uni. Crowd of people is not here like students from each & every stream. Selected students of selected courses are here. I am here to do some new work in the respective field.

I am doing my master's in biotechnology. I find this course something different in which I can do new and surprising work. Many persons I see whose thinking about this course is not so satisfying as they found it's negligible scope in India but I don't think so. This course is not new but it seems new to that people as they are not aware of its applications. Practical work is being done here but not at that level it should be. A lot of projects related to biotechnological research and nanotechnology sponsored by Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India are going on here. This is the best aspect of my institution I thought as here students'involvement is praisable.

Internship is provided but I have not enough to say something as it's my just starting here but I am sure that an opportunity for every student is here definitely.

Offcourse placement is done by various food and pharma industries. There is a training & placement cell which guide the students about various skills during interviews. For further guidance you may refer to the respective site.

There is a lot to say about curricular activities as everyday there is something like these happens in the campus. It may b womania event, talent shows, youth festivals, national integrating day celebration, various camps, seminars by reputed persons and sports' events etc. Important point to note that the auditorium of our institute is the biggest among all educational institutions of India even it is the biggest in Asia region as I headed. All the programs are well organised and highly enjoyable and motivational too.

Fee structure is not so high as well as not so low. But it is affordable for a middle class family too. A lot of scholarships are given on various basis. For further fee structure of all courses, you may prefer to the site www.gjust.in

Large no. of schlorships are provided like for sc/st students, on merit basis, for weaker students etc. Other funds are also given.

Here is so many things to do i.e. sports events including wrestling, swimming, shooting, badminton, volleyball, football etc., various workshops are held for students' overall development.

I am a hosteler & it's my first experience residing in a hostel away from family but with a new family. Interaction among students are good. Main problem is nonavailability of single rooms. Rooms are shared by 3 but still they are enough spacious. Hostels are alloted yearly and it costs around 10,000/yr. Food quality is also good. Other facilities provided in hostels include cafe, jym, ATM , shopping centre etc. Other activities are being done time to time.

I don't think it's is good to say for something I don't have complete knowledge. But I hope I will be able to explain this after a little sort of time and it will be positive i'm sure.

Not at all. It's just my entry in this university so I can't say more but according to my overall experience of minors and presentations and seminars, I can say that here a student is given their own stand.

Faculty is another impressible aspect. Teachers are amazing. They have a lot of knowledge of their subject as well as of latest work that is going on in tecnoworld. Student teacher interaction is so nice that every student is capable of represent as a master' s in their subject under their guidance. Mentors are here for any quiries, doubts and help anytime.
