My college life

The college is very good with a very good management and they care about the students opinions. Many events are conducted in the college for students enjoyment. attendance and marks are very strictly considered .

I came into the college through eamcet exam conducted by the AP government. As the college is top the eamcet rank should be very less i.e., around 5000-15000 . I got 9530 in my AP eamcet and as i am a local student of vizag i preferred this college for my engineering. I feel very satisfied to get this college because it is one of the top most college. I chose CSE as my course of study which is of my parents interest and even i am interested in that course. After the counselling i was not sure about getting this college but fortunately i got the college and even the branch i preferred. There are even management seats available in the college but they ask for more donations.

I chose computer science which is a very tough subject but i work hard to learn the subject and i am the class topper in first semester. Our college also provides scholarships for the department toppers. We have a very well equipped laboratory and highly digitized library facilities where innovative learning will be encouraged. The faculty encourages for practical learning they even make the students do the lab work with their own ability. Many researches are being taken place in our college and we have a research center. The real talents will be encouraged by the management and the students are given chance to conduct workshops. There are elective options in the fourth year .

No the college does not provide any internship programs but they recommend the talented students for various companies based on the students interest and also they take the students for industrial visits which are good reputed. As we are in cse branch many students go for internships regarding the Android app developments with new technologies. For ECE and EEE students they go for internships in steel plant with their own interest. Even some of our seniors go for conducting some of the internships.

Very good placements are provided for us from the campus. Many companies visit every year for recruiting students and they even give huge salaries for the students. Last year about 15 recruitment are done by Amazon with a package of around 7 lakhs per annum. Even many of the students got placed with a package of 5-4 lakhs per annum. About 60-70 % of the students get placed from our college in many eminent companies. The major companies which visit our college are TCS,wipro,HCL etc., the average package provided is 3.25 lakhs per annum.

The fees for eamcet students is 90,000/- per annum and extra fees is collected for books,transport etc., The college collect high amounts for the workshops they conduct. The management seats include high donations of around 5-6 lakhs. For the students getting less rank in AP eamcet will be given seat for only 25,000/- per annum. The fees will be high for some of the parents but compared with the facilities provided by the college the fees is satisfactory. Many other universities provide the same fees with much higher fees.

The faculty of our college are very well experienced with a ph. D degree and also many of them are experienced faculty. They have a interactive skills which make the students stay connected with the faculty. They have a very high standards of teaching and have good experience in practical teaching. They support the students to learn practically. They teach even the students to develop as a citizen and make the student mind strong. The faculty even encourages the students to participate in national events and conference and also encourage them to participate in extracurricular activities.
