Remarks
The college has many advantages comparative to other colleges. It ha a very good library and canteen. I used to hang out with my friends in canteen and made a lot of memories. You could also make your memories that could be everlasting by being a part of this college, It also has full greenery in and around the college.
Entrance Preview
You can enter the college by three methods and I entered the college by writing KCET entrance exam. There is no interview process in joining any college in Karnataka but there is a counseling process in which we need to submit all our documents for the admission in the college.The other two methods to enter the college is by writing COMEDK entrance exam and by management quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I choose is Electronics and communication engineering as I am very much interested in it. It focuses more on practical learning rather than this theoretical learning. There are research initiatives taken by our college but it is very less in number compared to many of the corporate colleges near our surroundings. There are elective options available in third year and fourth year.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't involve any provision of internships. But many of the students will be going to the companies suggested by the project guides and experienced professors. I did two internships one is in BEL and ECL. My experience is very good as these both are my core companies. I didn't get any stipend amount and I didn't pay also for doing it.
Placement Experience
The placements scenario has been increasing since 2015 but in the year 2014 it is very less and our super seniors faced a lot of problem. Most of the students getting placed are from CSE and ECE. The total percentage of the students getting placed is seventy to seventy five percent. The companies that visit our college is ABB, BOSCH, Dell, Honey Well, Reliance, Cognizant etc...
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees that we pay is twenty thousand per year and this amount is only for the college fees. We can apply through KCET, COMEDK entrance exam but you need to get a score of forty five percent marks in intermediate. You can also enter through management quota but with sixty percent of the marks in intermediate and there will be an extra fee for management quota.
Faculty
The teachers in our college will be very friendly with us. They will teach us in such a way that the last bench student can also understand his perspective. But this type of teaching won't be available in many of the colleges and they will take only merit students into consideration. The faculty are experienced but not highly qualified. The standard of teaching is average.
