I chose Btech CSE with AIML as a specialization since AI seems to be the most relevant thing when talking about future of computer tech. Moreover, Cse from MUJ offers best placements. Coming to the student to teacher ratio, its 1:70. Might seem huge, but we also get Teacher Guardians which have the ratio of 1:25. The faculty here is really good. Majority of them are Phd holders and are passouts of premier institutions of India, such as IIT, NIT and many other GFTIs. They teach really well and deep dive in the concepts, rather than just reading the ppts. The term exams, we have a mid term and an End term. Both were conducted timely and were moderate level on difficulty scale. There were some difficult questions aswell, but tackling them is easy with enough practice.

Fees here is high. 4 lakhs per year for Btech and additional 2.7 lakhs for hostel and mess. One can apply for handful of scolarships, but they are limited and getting them is rare. Fee isn't hiked here. The fee remains constant for a particular batch, but can be higher for the upcoming batch.

Both the Annual and Tech fest here happen in mid February. They are a grand event, and students remain busy for atleast 2 weeks. There are 3 libraries in campus. The main library offers variety of books realted to our course. It is fully air conditioned, and can accomodate around 200 students at a time. We even have study cubes, where we can quietly study without any external disturbance. Amenities which we get in classroom are comfortable chairs, 2 big whiteboards, projector for slides. There are various sport grounds in both campus amd hostel area, though cricket, tennis, badminton, volleyball and basketball are the top sports here. One can apply for the college sports team, where they get chance to play intra and intercollege matches. Clubs are a major part of student life here, and we've got tonnes of them. Astronomy, Science, Music, Dance, Coding, Writing, Fashion and much more.

The hostel here are opeated by a private agency called Good Host Spaces (GHS). We get to choose from triple, double and single bedded rooms. Double bed room seem ideal, since rooms here are small. They provide us with centralized Ac, Centralized hot Water, hotel like mattress, 2 study tables, a big almirah and attached bathroom and toilet. The food is the best part of hostel life here. We have a really big menu to choose from and many outlets to go and eat. The food quality is good, and haven't faced any bad day where the food was subpar. Registration of the hostel is really easy, only a 10 minute paperwork is done and we are handled the keys of the room. Though the fee for hostel is certainly expensive, costing 270000 for double bed Ac room with mess fees included.

The university offers two processes of Admissions. One can either go for a direct admission, which requires board marks, or by MET(Manipal Entrance Test) Exam. I opted for MET, and got a rank of 15600. One needs to have atleast above 25000 rank to get CSE here at MUJ. For board marks, above 85% is required for admission in CSE.
