Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I had a keen interest in software development. The curriculum is really interesting and covers every branch of computer science. In a class of 60 , the student teacher ratio is 60:1 but usually for every different subject, there are different teachers available. Faculty is well qualified and most of the senior teachers are PhD holders. There are mainly two exams per semester, namely midsem and endsem. And all of these are quite easy to pass.
Placement Experience
All the pre final students and final students are eligible for campus placements. Companies that visit are mainly Accenture and many more and they usually offer an average package of 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. Highest package offered was of 60 lakhs . Mostly all the students get placed so almost 80 to 85 percent of students get placed. My plan after this degree is to grab a good placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
As far as fee is considered, I personally believe that it's too much considering the facilities that are provided by the college. Scholorship are available for students belonging to EWS, for students coming from low income families and also for Sc students. I haven't get gotten a scholorship but I'm still working on my DSA to grab one.
Campus Life
The annual fest of BPIT is malhaar and its so amazing , it is usually a 2 day event amd students enjoy a lot. It is usually conducted in December. Books are provided by the book bank of college in the beginning of every semester. Library also has abundance of extra books and magazines . Classrooms are big enough to accommodate 60 students and has a blackboard and a projector. Sports available are football, basketball, tennis, cricket and much more. Three are many societies run by students including the social service club, dance club, singing club, and many tech clubs.
Admission
To get into BPIT you have to first of all give Jee as an entrance exam and after scoring a good persontile you are eligible for admission into this college .Application forms and application fee will be available on the GGSIPU website . Reservations are available for all the reserved categories .The admission process is quite smooth and does not really require improvement.
