Likes
- Things i liked is the location of the college is quite optimum in every sense.
- I was actually surprised by the food they provide in the mess . Its better than expected.
- I also like the girls to boys ratio in college . its 1:3 which is quite rare in engineering colleges.
Dislikes
- I disliked the amount of unnecessary burden they put on students. They literally give so much work.
- The level of question asked in the exams are generally higher than expected.
- The other thing is dislike is lack of sports facilities
Course Curriculum Overview
Becahelor in technology really pulls most of the enterprenuer's eye and to that of a reputated institute.the student to falculty ration is 30:1.Faculty are mostly well educated like phd holders and many iitians also.Our termly exams are held nearly every month just like schools.The difficulty is actually higher as i heard than that of different colleges.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements . There were many companies visits like Amazon , Adobe , Google , DE shaw and many more and they made a good amount of offers. Highest package offered was around 80 lakhs and average package is 9 lakhs. Nearly 85 to 90 Percent students getting placements . I want to have some job experience in this respective field and then decide what to do further.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college takes much fees in the name of various perks like dovelopment fee,tution fee,supplement fee and many other things.This makes the cost of study a bit higher.i am still in my sophomore year so i dont have much idea about financial assistance and job
Campus Life
The annual fest named Impressions held every year in the month of february . There are many techfest like technoblocks etc. which is counducted in october . library(lrc) is huge and good amount of resources are available . infrastructure of classroom are also good . The condition is also fine. Sports facilities are lacked in the campus. Many social clubs are present like Surkhaab , Nrityang , Thespian and many more.
Hostel Facilities
Tables and chairs are provided in the hostel room . Four buildings are present , 2 only for boys and 2 only for girls. Meal quality is also good especially breaksfast which also tastes good . The registration for hostel is quite easy just provided a slip by your respective hostel warden and the room is your's. But the hostel is quite expensive in my opinion. I have not rented any room or hostel.
Admission
The course is eligible for 12th pass students. Application form can be found at jee official nta site. As I'm general so there where not any benefits from the reservation. Reservation should be rethink. The general category candidates feels a bit helpless and unfairly treated. only merit based admission should be provided
