I like the campus life of our college. Campus is beautiful.
Library is best to study in peaceful environment and also have ample amount of books.
Organizing Extra activities on frequent basis boots the mood.

Dislikes

Campus is worst in our college. Needs improvement.
Faculties should present for every subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always interested in computer science and engineering that's why I opted this course. Proper faculties for few subjects are missing otherwise all the other faculties are just good. All the faculties have done M.Tech and few have also done P.HD and they teaching style is good as i have'nt faced any difficulties in understanding the concepts.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

our seniors had to pay less fee as compared to us. so, there is obviously fee hiking policy in our college. For our batch, the cost to study in our college is 265000 for the whole course. As per I've heard from seniors there isn't much of a campus in our college.

Campus Life

Our college is good in organising annual fest and other activities at frequent basis. Our college also have NCC and NSS for social work activities. the number of books in the library are adiquet foe course study. Few clubs are being run by students like sports club, tech club and cultural culb.

Admission

The admission process was not that hectic. I took admission for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering as per the eligibility criteria. I had to be shortlisted in JCECE(Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination), and the shortlisting was done on the basis of my JEE Main percentile. After being shortlisted, I received the seat allotment letter and submitted and completed all the other paperwork in the college. For the first year, i had to pay 70,000 and after that 65,000 per year. I availed of reservation benefits for branch allotment. For the improvements, I would like to suggest to the college to shorten the fee submitting office and opt for digital payment instead of doing it on a chalan.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

The real pride of dumka

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
