Entrance Preview
after completing my higher secondary exam i went for wbjee exam and ranked within 1st 600.then as per my interest i choose mechanical engineering and as per my rank i got the opportunity to get admitted i jadavpur university.
Course Curriculum Overview
our course is a four year course consisting 8 semesters. During our course curriculum we get know in details about fluid mechanics,ic engine,engineering mechanics,thermodynamics,manufacturing process, material science etc.in other hand beside our theoretical courses we have to go through some lab classes as well.
Internships Opportunities
i personally got internship in daikin India offered by my university. companies like honeywell,pepsico,siemens,cesc,hero also come to hire interns.
Placement Experience
placement scenerio of recent year is quite good.already a lot of students get placed in companies like maruti suzuki,linde India group,pwc,tata metalics,microsoft,hbc,amazon,Samsung,l&t etc.more companies like infosys,ibm,tcs,vedanta,reliance to come.
College Events
the most attractive event of our university is our cultural fest named sanskriti. beside it every department organised some more cultural events,technical fest,reunion as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
ju is one of the cheapest college in world.we just have to pay around 10 thousand rupees in our entire 4 years of course that means 1250 rs per semester.

alumni network is quite good.every year every department organised reunion where pass outs from different parts of world come and spend times together with current students.
Exam Structure
exam system is enjoying. 1 final exam at the end of each semester with two class tests during each semester.

our faculty members are highly educated from various part of world.they are like our friends come guide instead of practical teacher.they are always available to help us whenever we need at their best possible way.
