The college was good but they ask the students to pay heavy amounts of money for each and every fest. There is also good infrastructure and no ragging.
Entrance Preview
There is only one test that is to be written to get the admission into my college. The admission test to my college is EAMCET.I wrote EAMCET and my rank was around 3000. I applied for counselling and was allotted a seat here. Also students can get the admission in B category by paying some donation to the management. I took metallurgical engineering as per my interest.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is similar to other engineering institutes. In the first year all the students of different departments have same courses. Most of the topics are almost learned in the intermediate. The core subjects will be introduced from the second year onwards. The curriculum focus on the practical learning rather than focusing only on the theoretical knowledge. There are no research initiatives.
Internships Opportunities
Yes my college offers internships to the B.Tech final year. As I was in my second year I don’t have the chance to do any internship. The average stipend is nearly 3,000 to 5,000 rupees. But some students also get internship in government organizations and don’t get any stipend.
Placement Experience
My college has one of the best placement history in Hyderabad. The student placement cell takes care of all these activities. The companies that offer placements are TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloite, Acer, etc. The average salary is 3-4 lakhs in my branch. Almost 80 to 85 percent of the students gets placed. The highest placed package for our college is 12 Laks per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee is approximately 95,000 per annum. Also there is transportation fee of 35,000 rupees. The fee is affordable because the students get fee concession based on their parent’s annual income and their caste reservation. There are also many other fees which the student needs to pay for the various events and workshops.
Faculty
The faculty in my college are very good and they have many years of expertise in this teaching field. They have degrees from many reputed colleges like NIT’s and IIT’s. They always incorporate new methods to make sure that we get the concepts are understood by us. They are very friendly and also solve our doubts at any time of the day.
