Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the ECE course in CMRCET as this course gives overall knowledge in core as well as software technologies. The faculty-to-student ratio is good. There are many qualified lecturers in the ECE branch. Some of the faculties hold P.hd degrees and doctorates and others have M.tech qualified. If you prepare one month for the exams it is enough to pass. The faculty gives important questions to prepare for the mid exams and semester exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I joined in 2015, the annual fee was around Rs. 65,000. Every year it was increased to around Rs. 10,000-15,000. BC and SC/ST students can avail scholarship provided by Telangana state government. The college provide on campus training and placement support.
Campus Life
The 4 years of campus life at CMRCET are awesome. Every year college conducts an annual fest named Carpedium. 3rd block of the college is dedicated to the library which consists of large volumes of books for various departments. Each class is equipped with a digital projector for a better understanding of concepts. The college has a sports centre with table tennis facilities, carroms, cricket, and football for students extracurricular activities. The college is active on social media platforms such as facebook, Instagram and youtube.
Admission
The entrance exam for getting admission into the college is EAMCET which is a state level exam. Students have to apply for EAMCET exam in the last of 12th class. Application form for EAMCET is available online and application fees is around Rs. 1000.
