Likes

Many books are available in the library. We used to borrow the books from the library.
Clubs like singing club where every semester an audition for recruitment took place.
Sports events are held every semester like cricket, football, chess etc.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that much. Small campus
Not many playgrounds available on the campus.
We need to go to main university for playing.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to study computer engineering that's why I took this course. There are enough faculties in our college. CS has two sections with 60 students each. Faculties are well qualified, some are Phd holders and they refer to standard books for teaching. Term exams are semester wise and were of moderate difficulty.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't exactly remember all the companies of course. But some companies like Deutsche Bank, Barclays, Z scaler, Incedo etc. Came for internship opportunities. Many more came for recruitment. My seniors gave me this information.

Placement Experience

Students start getting placed in the seventh (7th) semester. I don't exactly remember all the companies name but I do remember some which provided high packages. Some number from 2022 placements were - 156 companies, 1265 students placed from the whole of davv university. Average package 8 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is affordable. Many students are availing good amount of scholarships. Like PWD, SC/ST scholarships. MMVY scholarships. I am in 6 semester so placement has not yet started for my batch. However seniors told it was good.

Campus Life

Aakshank is usually conducted every year in the month of November - December. Many standard books can be found in the library. Classrooms are equipped with seats for students. A green board and chalk for the teacher. Sports events are organised every semester. Along with singing band, financial club and drama club they are on Instagram.

Admission

I got admitted through JEE Mains examination conducted by NTA. Admission process is through MPDTE Counselling website. It is a state government college so after giving JEE Mains keep checking MPDTE website for information on admission process. After that a rank list according to your jee rank will come and you need to fill your choices of college and branch.

We have domains and certain denomination in placements like 6 figure denomination for top performing students as they get placements in excess of 10 lakhs. Average as of last year median is around 7 lakhs for electrical branch students.

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

I applied many colleges like sgsits indore, mits gwalior and iet davv and according to my rank sgsits ece branch is unavailable for me,so I choose this college. After counseling we have to visit in college with some documents which is already given in college website and allotment letter. There is limited seats in hostel so first come and get hostal. I had Applied in various colleges. I was getting jc Jabalpur Engineering College, but the condition of Jaunpur miram college is really bad, and I didn't feel the areas safe, and also it is in the place which is much farther than my own house, so it's somewhere. Create a sense of insecurity inside me , whereas indore Is the business capital of MP Madhya Pradesh and DPV is the second best college in Madhya Pradesh? I was getting RGI PT too, but again the distance problem, and it was not into my interest. One of the things of taking this college was the branch that I was getting, that is CS BS that really facilitates her. College provides good placement opportunities and great crowd to interact with

At my rank in JEE this was the best option I choose. And I never regret being a part of this college and a part of this branch.
