Course Curriculum Overview
Course and curriculum is top notch. Faculty student ratio is not upto the mark but you will get many residents (PG doctors) and seniors who will teach you and take your class. So, you won't find any problem. Infrastructure is top notch. Lots of patient exposure. Variety of cases and an awesome campus. Also many extracurricular activities
Internships Opportunities
Compulsary 1 year internship as mandated by NMC. Hands on is not too good in internship. You will get ample time to prepare for PG though so it's a 50-50 situation. Some departments will be hectic , others will be relaxing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are decided by the university and I haven't experienced any fee hikes during my course. You will get discount on tuition fees if you're from reserved category. Other than that you can avail scholarships from UP govt. If you are a UP native
Campus Life
College college infrastructure is top notch. It is one of the best campuses in the country. There are playgrounds, badminton courts, basketball courts, a swimming pool and many others. Library is very comfortable with AC. Reading room is available 24 hours. There are also lot's of canteens in campus and shops too.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good considering it a government hospital. They are nothing out of the ordinary but livable. No AC facility for UG students. Mess food is okayish but healthy. Price of food is 60 per meal with non veg costing 120 per meal
Admission
Admission by NEET-UG. For AI QUOTA UR category, rank within top 700 For state quota UR category, rank withing 2500. For reserved categories, it varies year to year Admission process is simple.
