I am enjoying my post graduation college life to its fullest

Our college provides free Wi-Fi for all students because our college is technologically superior. Hislop college Motto is " Green Hislop Clean Hislop". I am enjoying my college life to its fullest.

I have recently passed out from Hislop college doing graduation with securing 73% . So taking admission in Hislop college was not too difficult task. There was no entrance exam and no interview. I have choose M.Sc in Physics because I love physics subject very much.

Physics is an excellent subject to study and it's my favourite one because of its cool experiments we have to perform in our lab. Physics is totally a practical based subject where we don't need to mug up everything thing, here we need to understand the topic. Research initiatives taken by the institute on topic " Photo emissions of light" . Other options were M.Sc in Chemistry, Botonay , zoology etc.

Yes , our college provide an internship. I practically don't experience an internship program but have heard from my friends that it is very nice and interesting experience. Other than this, i have no more idea about internship.

Placement scenario is quite good. Many companies like Vipro, Infosis, Amazon etc visits our college every year. The average package offered to the students is 5 to 6 lakh rupees.

In month of December, there is flower exibition is held every year. Many other competitions and cultural fests like drama, quiz, dance, singing competition etc are hold held in college. Average of 600 to 700 people visits our college during these fests daily. College management as well as students equally share the responsibility of success ot these fests.

Hislop college fees is very affordable and cheap. We need to pay ₹4500 per year and ₹366 as university fees per semester.

Yes our college provides scholarships for Sc,St, Obc and Christian students. No, i don't avail any scholarship. No, college does not provide the facility of getting some loan.

Extracurricular activities like cricket tournament, Chess competitions, etc are held in our college. I actively participate in Chess tournament. Our college have all latest equipments like bowling machine, gym equipments etc.

Know I don't stay in hostel. Only girls hostel facility is available in my college. From my friends i heard that hostel facility and quality is quite good. They provide healthy and nutritious food to students. Students need to pay ₹40000 per year for hostel facility.

My interaction with alumni is quite good. Yes, my college provides a proper platform for student alumni interaction. Alumni visits our college 2 to 3 times a year. College arranges seminars for students by alumni.Alumni share their college life experience with students and inspire us. They tell us dos and donts of college life. In this way, alumni contribute in the overall development of college as well as students.

Yes , there are two semester exams held every year for M.Sc students. So for me it's ok type situation. Since Physics is my favorite, i font find any tiredness performing practicals in lab. So it's a chill culture.

Teachers teaching us Physics have experience of 5 to 6 years in teaching post graduation students. All teachers have done M.Sc and some of them have even qualified P.hd.degree. There is always very friendly interaction between students and teachers. Teachers taught us every topic in detail that we don't need to prefer many reference books for study.
