IIT Indore review with the eyes of Manvendra

I have chosen mechanical engineering course because I have much interest in mechanical physics from my class 11. There are approx one faculty for every 324 students which is a very good faculty students ratio. Faculties are highly qualified although there teaching method was not as much good they used to just change the slides and briefly explain the topics but might be it got improved in the next year as in the first year all the batches classes are combined so it is not possible to teach on green board. Term exams are held approx in the gap of 2 months and they are not just a cup of tea all though we do not study for whole month regorously but in the last few weeks of exams we have to study really hard to score a good grade in exams.

Companies which I have already mentioned like Amazon Salesforce Flipkart etc offer internship program. Rules of our under internship were usually coding competitions like hackathons and many like that. Projects were given in coding like developed traffic light system which is called efficient which some stated conditions. There can also be some real life other projects like some problem related to social cases which we have to find solution for that social issue.

Usually from the 6th semester students for eligible for campus placements. Plenty of companies visitid in college like Infosys, Adobe, Amazon etc. The latest message in was not so good there were some least offers were provided then the previous year. Highest package of IIT Indore post 68 lpa and the average package was 25.45 lpa which were provided by Amazon, sales force, and goldman sachs. Percentage of students getting place depends on branch but on an average it is approx 90%. I get a good job after btech then it's okay otherwise I am planning for a master degree after b.tech.

Fees per semester varies from 1.37 lakh to 1.5 lakh. Fee remission is available for students depends on their family income family income is less than 100000 then the whole tuition will be remaged and in case of family income between 1 to 5 lakh then there is two third three emission in tuition fee only. I have got two third fere emission during admission and I have applied for pmss scholarship but not got it since now hoping for getting it. I have not got any job up to now.

There is annual fest of our college which is fluxus and it is usually held in the month of March and there is also an annual tech fest which is held in the month of Nov-Dec. There are plenty of varieties in books and journals available in the library which is students can issue from them for a period of 15 days and can be extended up to next 15 days also. Classrooms are fully air conditioned and a good amount of lighting seats are not so comfortable but they are okay. There are plenty of extra curricular activities available in the college and almost all sports facilities are available all though the equipments one not provided easily if you are a regular student not in any sports club but there are plenty of other opportunities available. Some clubs and events which are run by students are literary club, quantum computing club, E cell, RIC, etc.

Hostels are not air condition we were given sharing rooms in a unit there are 5 rooms in which 6 peoples were there in which two rooms were for almirahs and in three rooms sex peoples usually living with two pair sharing. Some sports which can be played inside hostels are badminton, table tennis and carrom board. There is Central dining there are Central dining facility in the college in which three caterers were there from which we have to choose one of them for our monthly catering service. Hostels and other amenities were charged combinedly with the college fees there is no need to register for them additionally. There is no provision for rooms or PG we have to stay in hostel.

I have taken admission by clearing JEE advanced 2023 and and that is the only eligibility criteria for taking admission for b.tech courses applications form for JEE advanced were available every year for those students who have cleared JEE mains reservation is here also as in many other iits which we all know already. During the time of admission be face I'm much hustle in document verification in the college with can be the area of need to improvement.
