Remarks

All good except for a bit of infrastructure. Campus were great ,clean & tidy with trees and the shades best place to study.

Entrance Preview

Question based on Social Science such as HISTORY,GEOGRAPHY and CIVICS &ECO. on objective type question. The reason i landed up in this college is it was the Best College in Manipur. There ain't any interview process. The reason I chose the course I'm currently doing is I love to study and learn more about Economics.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was a three years course. the subject combination I chose was a great combination of three elective subjects. I did honors in eco. I like to study a lot of economics. (Economy does mean stinginess but avoidance of waste & Extravagance). 2nd elective was history which I get to know a lot of history about the world especially about Indian great kings and lastly Political science which teaches us about politics. There was not much practical learning in my course except for history going to the museum. About on Research Initiatives were taken by the Institute, till now there ain't any of it. The elective options available in DM college of arts were of the following:- Economics, Political science , English , History , Education, Geography, MIL, Sociology ,Mathematics , and Statistics .

Internships Opportunities

Nope the college didn't provide any kind of internship facility. Because it has nothing to do with it. Since there was no internship facility there was nothing like the stipend amount.

It was affordable for all classes of people... on top of it was government College... Admission Form Rs.250 Admission fee Rs. 2500 First year (First & Second semester exam form fill up fee Rs. 1100) Second year fee Rs. 1500 (third & fourth semester exam form fill up fee Rs. 1100) Third year fee Rs. 1500 (Fifth semester & sixth semester exam form fill up fee Rs. 1100)

In terms of extracurriculars. Photography essay & debate competition. But I never participated in any of it.

Hostel Facilities

I never reside in hostel. So, I had no idea about the hostel facilities. I don't know about that

My interaction with alumni was great which they taught and discuss my doubts

Nope it was not so much tired since it was an exam of 3 hours for 100 marks, like on higher secondary...

They were very interactive with the students. The way they taught were all unique from all other colleges. They taught each and every topic /subject very thoroughly and discuss with the students from time to time on modern teachings and current affairs related on the topics/ subjects. The teaching method was all different unlike other colleges. They neither came late nor absent.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Although my was poor but my family always support me to finished graduation at any cost. For year there was 2 exam (1st year) every exam I payed 2000rs to 2500rs as a examination form fillup fee. For every year I payed admission fee of 3500rs to 4500rs continuously for 3 consecutive years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is based on the new NEP 2020.So it is well rounded.For exams we must prepare for internal assesment as well as projects.And it is a must.The students have to give the exam in time.If not they will get back exams .And there is some fine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to study History mainly because of my interest in history, and also for competitive exams. The faculty environment was notably dynamic, and I encountered some fascinating peers within my department. Surprisingly, class attendance were consistently high, fostering a mild sense of competition amongs students. Though I can't recall exact student count, it was likely over 45 students but only 10 students remains after 4th semester when we had to choose for honors subject. Teaching staff were all supportive and ready to help whenever we faced any difficulties in subject. Regular test were conducted but the main exam held twice a year.

The Insights of Dhanamanjuri College of Arts

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had no specific course set in my at that moment but out of all, English seemed quite well-performing department among other departments. Plus it was not too difficult to start with as English was a common subject and we were used to it. The classroom buildings were not too good but it was manageable. At first day the classroom seemed small and wasn't able to fit in all of the students, but gradually the attendance kept decreasing which is a common thing and now only 60 of us are attending the classes. The teachers are well qualified with a Doctorate qualification and I don't have anything bad to say about them. Their teaching methods are easy to understand, and they're punctual; they don't usually skip classes. The exams on the other hand was the most disappointing thing about this college. Every exams were delayed atleast 2 months, and due to that out classes always started later than other colleges. The difficulty level is moderate but more than 50% students didn't manage to pass.

Accurate Opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

As arts students during my +12 course and economics was also in it(course). I chose economics considering my background. And it was fun and interesting for me to study. All of my teachers were M.phill+ Phd and well experience in teaching. The method of teaching was good and teach in way that help the students to well understood The exams were held every after four months of course in each semester. There was no difficulty to pass the exams if the students attend the lecture regularly

The Insights of Dhanamanjuri College of Arts

The whole process of admission was quite good, the questions were MCQ-based. The teachers were also strict during the test and didn't allow any sort of cheating in the process. The questions were not so difficult, yet not so easy. The course that I was entering was English Honours. and it had the highest cutoff in comparison with other courses as the maximum students applied for English Hons. More than 500 students applied for English Hons. But only 240 of us managed to secure the seats. The English Hons. It was a 4-year-long course, and the application form was available on the college website along with the submission date. As I belong to SC, I got the seat due to my reservation. The only improvement I want to see in the admission process is to allow form submission on the college website itself instead of manually submitting in the college counter, which was too crowded and took a lot of time....Read More
