Life at Poornima College of Engineering Rajasthan

Since computer stream seems to give an uphand over other streams and I had a peculiar interest in coding languages, I chose CSE. Faculty deals the students with ease and tries to explain the content with their best effort. Most of the faculty members are Doctorate holders and master degree holder. Term exams goes on with the frequency of 2 months as midterms and after 2 midterms there is end sem which is RTU examination. The midterms are quietly related to the content taught by the faculty and its not so difficult to pass, same goes with RTU exams.

Companies like wonder Infotech, etc provide internship programs with or without stipend. Roles offered by the companies are of web developer and intern. I've developed some sites and projects for the companies and the outcome was quite average...

Students become eligible for placement opportunities from 4 th year 7th sem. Companies like accenture and tcs,etc visit the campus for placements with an average package of 5 lpa. The college according to me places 60% of the total students. I plan to do masters after btech.

Fees charges are quiet nominal considering other colleges and I find it affordable and worth it when it comes to the education they provide. Campus recruitment programs go on with regular classes weekly which help us to pass the aptitude criteria asked by companies. There are many stipend and job opportunities provided by the college. Cons rate over the MNC'S coming to college, which has decreased over 2 years.

Aarohan, aaveg, etc are some annual fests the college arranges for the students. The fest frequency is every 5 months and the college provides a welcome party for freshers. The library contains all the books regarding our curriculum and study structure consisting of various coding study material and a vast literature section for students. Sports like volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, etc are played within the campus. The college has various clubs based on student's interest. Clubs like GDSC, CODING CLUB, etc are of coding enthusiasts.

Hostel facility is average providing us wardrobes a desk and a private washroom with a balcony. Amenities like hot aur during winters and ventilated air conditioning during summers is provided. The meal is provided 2 times with a breakfast and a snack meal in the evening. The quality of the meal is average and considerate considering the amenities.

The college requires the candidate to opt JEE after 12th for admission, as per the application form - it was available online on the college's website. The cut off happens from association with REAP Rajasthan Board. The improvement i want to see in admission procedures is that there should be more transparent and more Lininent towards outer state students
