NIT JSR INTERNSHIP REPORT

Course curriculum is designed very effectively in which in the first year everyone irrespective of any branch have to study same syllabus to develop a basic required knowledge to understand the concepts of engineering after that the branch specific subjects are introduced from second year and also practical projects internship are also introduced to develop the practical aptitude and knowledge of students. After 2nd year we become eligible for internship as companies start visiting just after summer vacation to offer 2 month internship for second year passed students and 6 month internship for 3rd year passed students. Tata steel ( for ME,PIE,Civil,Electrical) Role:- Technical manager Stipend:- 40000/ per month Duration:- 2 months Jindal stainless steel (for ME,PIE,META) STIPEND:- 25000/ per month Role:- Techanical Duration:- 2 months And many more .. For 6 month Flipkart Role- Supply chain Stipend:- 50000 Fasinal Role- analyst Stipend:- 50000 And many more... After 2 month internship there is high possibility that you will get pre placement offers . In 6 month internship most of the time ppo is already offered to the students.

Our college is known for placement. According to placement our college must be in top 5 nits. In mechanical branch there is 100 percent placement with an average CTC of 10.5 lpa. In computer science average placement is 27 lpa. Approximately every branch have placement above 95%. In mechanical highest CTC offered was 23 lakhs for a sde role and also many students got the job as analyst job. Others went for core sector of mechanical Major core canpanies are:- BCCL HPCL TATA STEEL EXXON MOBIL Etc Average package offered by core companies is around 8 lpa. My plans is to give ese examination and gate examination as I am interested in government sector jobs.

Fee structure depends on annual family income of your family and the category in which you belong. SC/ST/PWD(any category) students get full fee remission in tution fee. They only have to pay hostel fee and mess fee if they take hostel. Hostel fee+mess fee= 42,500 which may vary by 1000 if there is inflation in price of food items. General/OBC/EWS candidate with annual family income less than 1 lakh gets full fee remission and only have to pay hostel and mess fee+ extra charges ( 42,500) General/OBC/EWS with family income above 1lakh and below 5lakh gets 2/3 fee remission in tution fee. So they have to pay hostel fee + mess fee+ extra charges + 1/3 of their tution fee i.e ( 42,500+ 1/3 (62,500)) And all others have to pay full fee that is 10500 Approx. Scholarship provided by government 1) E Kalyan:- This scholarship is for students of jharkhand provided by government of jharkhand to the candidate belonging to OBC/SC/ST students in which they get approx 40000 minimum every year.

We have three college fest and also every branch has their branch specific fest and many clubs have their annual events. College fest:- OJASS:- TECHNICAL FEST OF NIT JAMSHEDPUR It is the second largest fest of East India. In this fest many technical competition and workshops are organised in which we'll renowned personalities come to motivate , help and teach students. This happens in month of APRIL URJA:- SPORTS FEST OF NIT JAMSHEDPUR This fest is a inter branch sports competition among the students. In this event there are sports including cricket football hockey lawn tennis table tennis badminton basketball volleyball long jump high jump etc. happens in month of November CULT FEST:- CULTURAL FEST OF NIT JAMSHEDPUR Only only say the name of guest and you will understand how big this event is jubin nautiyal,Jakir khan,Shirley and many more. It is three day fest in which many dance group many music band compete with each other. Rooh(music club) Aahwan(drama club) Dance etc.

In the first year Boys:- room shared by 2 students of same branch. Room consists of 2 bed 2 seperate wardrobe , Two lan ports for internet, one fan, one table and chair, 2 blubs and one night light, 24 hours electricity. The hostel is divided into 6 blocks each block in every floor consists of 18 rooms sharing a 4 common bathroom and 4 common washroom that are cleaned on regular basis. Girls:- they got 3 person accomodation in which they get 3 bed and 2 fan and 3 wardrobe. All other facilities are same as boys. Mess food is not very good but it bareable. As we get chicken 4 days in week and one egg or banana every morning. From second year. Boys get their single room with balcony. same room as first year Further years boys remains in same room Girls get 2 accommodation room in their final year. There is no registration process for hostel hostel is compulsory for everyone if you want to not take hostel then you have to give application explanation proper reason

Anyone who want to get admission in this college have to give jee mains examination for which application form is published by NTA and after the exam everyone get there rank according to there percentile. By using that rank you have to participate in jossa counciling in which you have to select among many colleges and courses the college and course of your interest in priority order then accordingly to your rank and priority order you will get addmission in any nit/ IIT/iiit/ gfti colleges.
