Know about my college

College is good, but for core students only few companies will visit but if you are from software field then you have many opportunities to got placed.you must be disciplined and punctual and attend the class regularly so you will get good internal marks. overall it's average one you will enjoy and frustrate both at the same time.

I write JEE- mains and got admitted by counseling process . There is no interview process for admission in btech they only see the 12th percentage and jee mains marks. I am interested in mechanical branch that's why i chose this course.There are my relatives who suggested me this college that's why they suggested me that this is a good college.

I chose mechanical stream . There are only few faculties in mechanical who are very good but others are just better than average . Focus on practical learning is very less , even faculties don't attend the practical classes and yes they don't take any research initiative , You have to do it by yourself by learning it from other resources.

No. If you are thinking that college will provide any internship then you are totally wrong . College is not going to provide any internship. you will have to apply for internship in many firms by yourself or can get it by your connections college is not going to help you to attain any internship opportunity.

The placement scenario is not so good ,students need at least 60 percent . There are some major companies like TCS , wipro visited in college . Average package is approx 3-4 lakhs per annum . If you are IT or CS student then many companies will visit in college for recruitment . But only few companies will come for core branches, In Cs or IT many students have 2 jobs in their hand they get lot of opportunity but for the core branch students the scenario is worst and you can't expect something good as the scenario is same everywhere.

There are many technical events like ROBOTICS , TECHNO-DRIVE are being organised by college in which the students can submit there technical projects. there are also various managerial fests are also being organised in the campus, in which many of the colleges also participates and students from various college also visit the college to see the event average footfall is 2000 people. The respective organisation and college authorities equally contribute to the success of events.

Fees is very high , as compare to facilities provided and campus placements .It costs approx 90,000 per year and if you will take bus and hostel they are additional you have to pay them additionally ,Even they don't hire good faculties .

Yes college provides the scholarship to the students who are in merit list in their department also the university provides them scholarship and for the socially backward castes government also provides the scholarship and that form is given by the college authorities and they also help to fill it. Yes college have some links with banks so they also help in getting loans with lower interest rates.

The college is quite good in the field of extra curricular activities , they organize many competitions and also hosts many inter college events, they also have respective team too and motivates the students to participate on such activities, in addition to it DJ night, singing competition, Solo dance, Engineer's day celebration, Quiz , Techno fiesta events are performed. yes it helps to explore the inner talent as I sing songs so I got first prize in the singing competition and it motivated me a lot and energizes too. there are good facilities for all the activities and good rewards are also there.

I am not a hosteler . And yes hostel rooms are good like other college hostels and no single rooms , all are sharing . You have option of two bed or three bed that is whether you want 2 room partners or 3, accordingly rates are fixed and you can't expect very much from the food of the mess,food quality is average. If you want to take PG's they are nearby in the society you can take it there and it will cost 5000 per month including food.

I have good interaction with my alumni as many of them are from my hometown and to many of them I connected personally. No, the college doesn't provide the proper platform for student-alumni interaction nor they organize any alumni meet so we have to connect them only by personal means or through networks. Yes alumni helps in overall development of college as many of them have startups so the generally hire the students from college so it is very beneficial.

No, the college doesn't put emphasis any on practical learning so you will not get any practical knowledge and implementation of the subject so you only have to mug up the things here ,labs are really not chilling at the end of the day you will only get de-motivated. Exams happen 3 times in the semester and there are no tests in middle so you will not get tired from it as it is generally usual.

Few faculties are really very good and highely experienced but most of them are less experienced and also they ate not able to clear the concepts .The main faculty rarely takes the class and only the new and less experienced teachers takes the class. They are not very interactive with the students nor they have very deep knowledge of the subject.
