Likes

I found the teachers are quite friendly, and it organizes college trip more or less every year and the students and environment is very friendly.
The office stuffs helps a lot and you get a nice treatment from the college.

Dislikes

The canteen does not contain a variety of food items or it is unable to provide the basic kind of food and it's not improving in any way
The campus is not very much big but sufficient for 500 students
I don't like the outside environment of this college

Firstly I found my interest in law which was the main reason for opting law for my higher studies. About faculty overall faculty is very good, teachers are way more friendly and supportive than I imagined. The teachers are very capable I don't have any complain about any teaching methods of professor. Every body is very nice. And about examination there is a examination at the end of each semester.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 252000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is like 24000 per semester it was when I took my admission but now it has changed a bit Ig. I got swami vivekananda scholarship from the college and applied for kanyashree. You have to pay for other functions like any program arranged by College students then you have to give a certain amount to the students and that's very occasionally.

Campus Life

BBLC arranges farewell for senior students provide fresher party and as well as a annual function or aka social. The library is very good you can get study related books and some novels the book collection is not very huge but it's very authentic type. I mean you can get anything and everything related to your study. The college has its own ground where you can play and it arranges annual sports in the month of December-january

Admission

Firsty I took admission in the year 2022 and due to some circumstances the Calcutta University didn't conducted it's entrance exam. Merit list was provided on the basis of our marks and admission occurred on the basis of college preference you choose in your application form. All the information related to application form and application dates will be provided by official portal of cu. Overall admission process was good I have no complain regarding admission process.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.

My honest experience of my collage life

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my collage courses curriculum conduct by Calcutta university, every collage who affiliated with Calcutta university follow Calcutta university curriculum. I choosen BA LLB because in ba llb every semester you learn new law subject and they help you better understand because you have five year times you can learn every law subject very breifly way. I think the curriculum of my law subject is enough to prepare me for real world application because you read every law subject who is important for your real world experience that is the reason i choose this course. I think they need to change repetive topic in semester because of tenure of course i repeated few topic of my subject i think they need to change the few topic of subject they are so repeated. Every year two semester exam i give and semester season is june and December , in june semester exam student have very less time to prepare for exam i think this is a difficult for students for prepare exam in a short time.

Handbook to carry in TIU

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am a student of BBA LLB. Tab management subjects makes a mess for me there are 7 subjects in management which I think doesn't have any applications in the real world and its like I heavy load to us in our curriculum but in speaking of the law subjects there are hard subjects but frequency in the timings of the classes make it very easy and allows us to perform well in the exams

My college has a 98% placement rate. As I'm in 2nd year, I haven't been placed yet, but as I look at my seniors, they are definitely well placed. The average package ranges from 3.5LPA - 3.8LPA. The highest package was 36LPA reported in 2024-2025.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

My experience in Heritage Law College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing that I love about the curriculum is that we need to study in depth. Our syllabus contains most basic to really professional level stuff which really help us prepare for real life experiences and further academic pursuits. The only change i would like is more practical experiences that would be helpful.

Heritage Law College is a heritage of legal studies!

Placement Experience:

In the final year when some law firms and legal houses of Calcutta High Court approach our college for placements. If one gets at top law firm them the packages are around 8-10 lakhs but if under a lawyer the salary is just 2-3 lakhs a year.

If they can take regular class test that will help us in subject. Exam timing are not that much good. If they add outdoor games that will help students for relaxation. Syllabus should be updated because our syllabus system is not up-to-date with new law system
