- The Campus life here is good as expected but you have to compromise something over the other. The faculty is well experienced
- While joining club or society one will develop leadership qualities. The senior junior relationship here in bit is unexplainable as it teaches us
- Placements is average but it is upto us as seen in past of Bit. One get good guidance of many seniors and all branches here
Dislikes
- The hostel here in bit is not as good. Like common washroom is most irritating. The infrastructure is somewhere not satisfying.
Course Curriculum Overview
Pursuing btech from top government college is a much better option. The faculty member are also good. The professor are from different fields and regions. The exams conducted here are according to the schedule provided by Jut ranchi.
Internships Opportunities
The internships start getting to students from second year only. There are many opportunities except internships. Companies like vedanta , tata steel , cognizant can hier you for internships. Packages are low but the overall experience while internship will give you not only a good space in your resume but also qualities like leadership , communication skill, and an experience to learn new things. During internships stipend is provided to students according to the companies and exceptional quality in a student. Before internships one has to go through various projects and a good cgpa though. Project is by company and also given by college. Opportunities varies as according to the skills in self. Roles offered by various companies can be of assistant and many. Internships from various companies depend on the companies and the branch of student. The on campus placement is very good at Bit .Many MNCs company visit in Bit like TATA and steel company, vipro, samsung, Vedanta, On campus com.
Placement Experience
Internships are provided from third semester only however for placement it's the fourth or third year that is sixth or seventh semester. Companies like Tata,vedanta often visit the campus. The average package being 3 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost is very minimal here at this college. Like you need to pay a one time fee at the start of year that is around 7k. Other expenses includes mess and hostel fees. Talking about scholarship, there's a great opportunity especially for the category students.
Campus Life
There are many clubs and society in Bit sindri. You will get a wider option to choose from. There are fest held each year like adventure,qi festa,mib,etc. You will love the social life here. Books are available in the library between mentioned time.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel charge is also minimal. The hostel are well spaced provided with bed and cupboard to keep things on. Room have electricity supply but poor washroom condition.The meal at hostel are of good quality provided you are not irritated by fixed meal every week.
Admission
The admission in BIT SINDRI is through Jee mains which is conducted by NTA. The cutoff varies each year but the minimum requirement to get into this college is 89 percentile through general quota,just to step into this.
