Course Curriculum Overview

I choose civil engineering because it's my dream from childhood because my uncle was also a civil engineer. And because merit number I got admission in government engineering collage palanpur.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship facility at our college.So that I don't spend amount. I hope in few years the internship facility is provided in our college.

I have no experience in hostel because my house is near to the college.So I don't have need to go hostel and leave there.I hope few years my college Is provide these fecilty.

Gtu term fee is 1500 per six month.And also take gtu exam fees per exam.In government collage the fees is low compare to private collages.

Yes the scolorship is provided by government yearly for different cast.No there are no loan provided by collage for education.

Hostel Facilities

I have no experience in hostel because my house is near to the college.So I don't have need to go hostel and leave there.

Exam Structure

Gtu exam is very useful for students for their preparation. It takes on per six month.Exam result is grade system.

Faculty

All the faculty are graduated and ME clear in different field.They have very good experience of teaching for long time.They taught very good to students.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

I applied for ld engineering and vishwakarma and more and I got in vishwakarma but I rejected it for government engineering college palanpur because it is more stress free than vishwakarma I applied for nit surat, iit Gandhinagar but I couldn't make it because of my low performance in jee The admission process is simple first you have to fill the acpc form than it will confirm your seat based on your grade than come to college with document and that's it and the eligibility is different every year but in my year it is based on acpc rank and jee mains rank Overall admission experience is little hard for me because it's my first time taking admission on my own so it is hard but with some instruction it is went well...Read More

Bad: College campus is quite small as compared to other colleges. Hostel is not in college campus, its around 1Km away from it. Placements are not that good. Industrial visit don't happen very much.
