I would recommend this college if you are mechanical or Cs/Is aspirant. The environment here is very good. You have scope for sports as there is a separate sport complex for Indore games. The faculty here are very qualified. It's one of the must study institutions in karnataka. I have already had a great time in this college. Expecting more of it.

I joined this college through K-cet. Iknew that this was one of the famous collages in Mysore I learnt about this from my seniors. Since this is a UG course there was no interview for us. But there might be for higher courses.For my Cet rank IP and civil branches were available. Since this college is prefered for mechanical branch I chose IP rather than civil

It's been of not much reasonable for me to say how good my course is since I am in 1st semester. But I have heard that it is a good branch from many of my seniors. There is equal weightage to both practical and theoretical approach of the concept. There are tremendous amount of people working on research activities. Our college also supplies bio diesel to municipal corporation of Mysore fueling most of its vehicles. I am still in 1st semester so no electives for us all the courses are mandatory

I am sorry. I have very feeble idea about this. But from seniors I have heard that there was internship to many companies like kirloskar. They said that most of the time they weren't assigned to any post. They were on the bench.

When I passed through the placement cell the scenario was quite as expected. Everyone tensed. Well it was typical placement environment out there. As of now the placements are still going on. But for last year statistics I have heard that 82% of the students are placed. The major ones are google, Microsoft, uber, Bosch, wipro, infosys,tcs and many more. In some good companies the average of 6 L was given. Highest placement happened for a person from cs of 26 L

Since I got the aided seat from karnataka Cet it's been very affordable. The Cet fees that we paid for the key is roughly around 19 K. And the college fees is around 14 K totalling up-to 33k which I feel is is very affordable. But if the person has got the unaided seat then the total amount including kea and the college fee comes around 50k if anybody chooses management quota then total course fee is around10 to 20 Lakh. Comed K fees is around 2 L per year

The schedule for labs and classes are so well made that one should not stay in college for more than 6 hours in college. The exams are also conducted in a very good manner. At times I felt tired. But it is very well organised compared to some of the colleges

The faculty is purely dependent on the branch you choose. For Cs/Is the teachers are highly qualified. Same applies to mechanical branch. Rest of the faculties are double graduates but not from highly reputed institutions. When it comes to interaction everyone has a higher hand in it. Clarification of doubts from professors is very easy. I felt the standard of teaching to be very good. But it can be slightly better
