- Discipline is very strictly followed in the college.
- Ragging which is the major problem is not practiced in this college. Even seniors fear to bully juniors because of the fear of director of the college.
- Training and placement cell is excellent and very active in the college from first year itself.
Dislikes
- There is no activity for the first year students.
- There is a huge problem of attendance which is compulsory for all of you have less than 60% of attendance college will not forward your form to university
- Some inexperienced teachers are there which do not know how to control the class are been appointed by the college which is the biggest problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed this course because of the high demand of freshers in the IT industry and continuous increasing of the package. Faculty is good but there are some freshers teachers which have just completed there bachelor degree and college has appointed them whereas some teachers are excellent they have completed there PhD in respective subjects and there teaching process is excellent. There are two semesters in each year and two mid term exam which is conducted by college itself and one end sem exam by the rgpv University. Mid term exam are easy to pass whereas end sem exam are difficult to pass and frequently students get back in that exam.
Placement Experience
Placement is very good even the reason for choosing this college is the placement only. Students are free to apply for campus placement if they have skills from the end of third year. There are many companies like cognizant, Dutch bank , infosis,tcs etc. highest package is 1.2 crore which is off campus. My plans is go get a good placement or pursue masters. Which I wil decide later.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college is quite simple that is yearly the fees is 123900 which you have to pay in two installments at the starting of the semester in first semester you have to pay extra 4000 for uniform which is compulsory and if you are opting for hostel than hostel fee other wise bus fee is compulsory. College does not provide any scholarship only the scholarships provided by the government are applicable in the college.
Campus Life
Annual tech fest has been held in the month of December that is this year it was held on 30 December. There is more tha 4 lakhs books in the library and they keep ordering new books every year. There is availablilty of sports but not for the first year you can play sports from second year only. There are clubs in the college but that is also for the second year students and you can join that only if you have minimum of 65% of attendance in the first year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are excellent we are the first batch of this newly inaugurated hostel so it is very new every day sweepers come for room cleaning and in a week cleaning of washroom takes place.meal quality is excellent breakfast in the morning and lunch in afternoon and evening snacks in evening and dinner at night. Registration is very easy but it is not for second year students only first year students are allowed in the hostel from next year you have to live in the Bhopal at your own arrangements.
Admission
Addmission is through the Process of the councelling which is based on jee percentile and the cutoff for different branches are different for cse it has been closed on the rank about 1,20,000. Application is available on the directorate of technical education Madhya pradesh from there you can apply for addmission.
