Interview Experience
Admission Process: GD, Interview, and Written Test The admission process included a Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and a Written Test. Group Discussion: Candidates were divided into small groups and given a topic to discuss. Topics ranged from current affairs (e.g., "Impact of Social Media on Youth") to abstract issues (e.g., "Sustainability vs. Economic Growth"). Evaluators assessed communication, leadership, and reasoning skills. Personal Interview: The interview covered academic background, career goals, and industry awareness. Common questions included "Tell us about yourself," "Why do you want to join this program?" and "Where do you see yourself in five years?" Subject-specific and general knowledge questions were also asked. Written Test: The test comprised sections on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and General Awareness. It included multiple-choice or descriptive questions, with a duration of 60-90 minutes. Other Criteria: Academic records, work experience (if applicable), and extracurricular achievements were also considered. Some institutions required an SOP or essay submission. Preparation Strategies: Reading newspapers, participating in mock GDs, and practicing problem-solving helped in preparation. Revising academic concepts and preparing structured answers for PI improved confidence. A well-rounded approach to preparation ensured success in the admission process.
Night Life
The nightlife on and around campus is quite limited, as the college follows strict regulations regarding late-night activities. Campus Facilities: The library, gym, and cafeterias close by 6 PM, along with most public areas. Students are expected to return to their hostels by 6 PM, after which the gates are locked. There are no late-night study areas or food joints within the campus. Hangout Spots on Campus: Since late-night gatherings are not possible, students usually spend their free time at the canteen or common areas before 6 PM. Small group discussions or casual meet-ups happen in designated student lounges or open spaces during the day. Popular Spots Outside Campus: Due to early closing times, students have minimal opportunities to explore nightlife. Most prefer visiting nearby cafés and restaurants during the day, such as [Insert local spots], before heading back to campus. Weekend outings are planned carefully to ensure they return on time.
