Average Govt Institute

Good thing is tgere is no nuisance in the college, but on other side there is no college life or a good educational life ultimately according to my personal experience i have loosed my skills by admitting here.

Admission on the basis of ACPC counselling, On the merit based upon summation of 11 12th Gujarat Board and JEE Gujart Board was having semester system when we were passed out..so both the markings of std 11 and 12 were was on count and the JEE was mandatory for the engineering admissions

Cource I have choosen is absolutely fine but our college is not giving it's best towards the course, there is no practical learning, perhaps the laboratory equipments are still left in the old Institute VGEC Gandhinagar, where these Cource(Mining Eng.) has been conducted at there in past, which is now currently studied here @ GEC PLN, No research based tactics learned or given by faculty.

No internship offered by the college, students undergo with their own expance wherever they want to go for internship, college will never take their stand to encourage students for such stuffs , the faculty is too much careless about ther duty as the government body is governing, so no more expectations about the internship

The Institute in which i have been studied since almost one and half year, I have hardly listened about or even thinked about campus placement, since the inauguration of our Institute there have been no placement is done still present from the campus itself, or the main thing is that there is no placement cell is there, on the marking of placement institution stands at 0

Events are now organising from these couple of days means Just from the last year, there is only functions like cultural event then navratri function and the sports week, like the arts stream ... these is technical Institute bt i have not attended any of the technical event in my college so far.

Fee structure is very fair as govt institution 1500 INR Govt Fee 2500 INR Campus Fee We are blessed because of govt, maximum fee we pay annually almost less than 5000 its very very effective and good then other private engineering Institutions which take upto 80 thosands to lakh per annum.

Yes scholarship are given to the minors and backward categories students like SC ST OBC as a general category student we cant think abt this...its just been a dream

Worst then ever to build your character with extracurricular activities, hardly a event or activity is taken up in college to stand students to make efforts for the same, yes NSS activity is taking up its good but we have tried a lot for NCC but faculty principle or the governing body of cllege is giving only shit to us.

Worst hostel ever...in the middle of almost Jungle, No public attractive junction near the hostel or the College

No alumni network, there have been no alumni gathering has been done in our college

GTU exams sucks...the paper pattern and marking pattern of the exam is cery disgusting

Some Faculties are not well qualified, there is no permanent lecturers they are on contract basis, somewhere in between faculties are less knowledgeable then the students
