overall the college is delivering what it is claiming. It is trying to build resources for future. They take regular feedback from students regarding studies and class requirements and try to resolve issues if any persists.
Entrance Preview
I had given MAT examination and came to know about college from my friends. The college accepts mat/cat/xat scores for admission. After the meeting the minimum score requirement there is an interview and group discussion round for selection into the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The entire course is being divided into six semesters and in every semester you have around 8-10 subjects. In second year you have the option of selecting your final specialization till then you will study general subjects and will have plenty of time to make up your mind about your specialization.
Internships Opportunities
The college do provide paid internships to its students. Companies come over in January and February to hire interns for summer internship.The stipends may go up to rs 10000 per month.
Placement Experience
The return on investment is good. They try to bring the best companies in the campus but the ultimate selection depends upon the students.Companies like deloitte, satguru travels ,Axis bank, ICICI bank etc visit the campus every year for placements.
College Events
There are number of events keep on happening in the college to name few Verve feast, Dandiya nights,etc that take place every year. The feast verve is organised at a very large level and celebrities like diljit dosanjh , Neha kakkar are being invited here. The average footfall is around 500-600 persons.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees-630000 approx and it is being divided into 4 installments- 2 installments in a year. It makes the entire structure quite affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship up to 1 lac to students on basis of their past records and scholarship on basis of their performance in the class up to rs 15000 every semester to toppers of the class.
Campus Life
The college organises a number of guest sessions and seminars by experts to provide us exposure to various things. The events like management games, retail snake and leader, ipl bidding, group discussions,etc keep on going in the college.
Hostel Facilities
There are hostel facilities for both boys and girls- seperate for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are decent and are cleaned on daily basis. The food provide is very tasty and has different varieties- it is not boring.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a strong alumni network. It organised coffee meets, dinners with its alumni to be in touch with them. Also the students are being connected to the alumni through online web portal.
Exam Structure
Exams here are not a cake work. They require sincere efforts on part of students to pass them. For passing the exams, attending the classes is a must as they test our conceptual knowledge not the Bookish one.
Faculty
The faculty in Jims are highly qualified and experienced and their way of teaching is appreciable. They believe in imparting knowledge rather than just delivering it. They are always ready to help and try to create opportunities for the students by giving challenging work.
