My college has given lots of opportunities to showcase my talent and skills. Alongwith academics, our college gives us other opportunities like activities and competitions.
Entrance Preview
I wished to pursue English Honors so that I could go for journalism after graduation. This college gave me the opportunityto pursue English Honors with Journalism as an elective subject. This i the reason I chose this college and this course. For my course, there is no entrance exam and no interview. The admission is according to the marks obtained in board exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to do this course and my interest has been very well fulfilled by the college. We keep making assignments and recordings of the activities that we do in or outside class. We have visited the All India Radio office, The Tribune office and the Doordarshan office too.
Internships Opportunities
The college does nit provide any internship officially. But they do provide us with letters which allow us to get easy access to internships according to the course.
Placement Experience
As I have heard from my seniors a lot of companies visit our college searching for candidates from various courses. Don't have any idea about the name and exact details right now as I haven't reached that phase myself.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My college is affiliated with Panjab University. It's fee structure is easily affordable. I don't have any idea regarding the exact figures.
Faculty
The teachers that I'm under, are all highly qualified and well read individuals. They have all excelled in their particular fields and don't leave any stone unturned to give the best education to us. They don't bind us to particular books, rather encourage us to research and learn more.
