Course Curriculum Overview
The course is well-structured and the faculty are very knowledgeable and helpful. Classes are conducted regularly and attendance is very strictly monitored. There are 60 seats every year and the faculty-student ratio is good.
Internships Opportunities
After 3.5years, we have compulsory 6 months internship as student nurses in AIIMS Kalyani included in the 4yr course. Stipend is given during internship. Nursing interns are posted in different departments of the hospital to gain clinical skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is only ?3165 for 4 years. It includes all fees and hence, is very affordable. The hostel fee ?1000 is also included in that ?3165, and that ?1000 is refunded on course completion after 4 yrs. Stipend ?500 is given every month from 1st year.
Campus Life
Many programmes and festivals are conducted here. We have a huge air conditioned central Library where many books and journals are available. The classrooms are also air conditioned. Extracurricular activities are encouraged. There are dance drama club, literary club, music club, art club and many more. The campus is very big and the scenery is very beautiful.
Hostel Facilities
Single rooms are given with attached washrooms from 1st year. All students are required to stay in hostel. The rooms are very nice and clean, with one bed, mattress, study table, chair, small bed side table and big almirah.
Admission
AIIMS Delhi conducts entrance exam for BSc(Hons)Nursing course at all the AIIMS College of Nursing including AIIMS Kalyani College of Nursing. Application form is available at AIIMS Delhi website. Students having more than 55% score in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 10+2 are eligible for the entrance exam. Admission is on the basis of the rank secured in the entrance exam.
