To join DBS you have to write a management aptitude test conducted by MAT, CAT or XAT. I got a chance to study at DBS after successfully clearing MAT exam with a score of 84%. Yes a interview was being scheduled after a week of result declaration in the college auditorium. I chose PGDM from jagran because it has the best study curriculum out of all colleges in the city.

The course was perfectly designed with a blend of practical knowledge & live projects. Ratio of practical learning was high, on a scale of 10, 7 were for the practical exposure given to the students & remaining 3 for the things taught to you in classes. The elective options available were Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, International Business & Operations.

Yes, college provides a summer internship and if student wants he or she can join a winter internship as well. HDFC bank, Pantanjali, Jaro Education were some of the companies which visited the campus for recruiting students.

The Placements were good. 100% of students were placed for the PDGM batch. Highest Package was 23 lakhs with an average of 4.5 lakhs. The Companies that visited the campus were Liberty, Red Chief, Yellow pages, Just Dial, etc.

There is a 3 day event organized by the college which is known as Manfest where in students from other colleges also come and take part in the competitions being held, which includes sports & other cultural events including business quiz is organized. Every festival is well organized by the management keeping in mind that children come from West Bengal, Assam and various other states so cannot go back to celebrate a festival. 1 day event is also organized which is known as utsav fest where cultural activities are organized.

Fees was affordable with respect to the facilities being provided at the college. Fees for 1 year was approx 3 lakhs. Cost for books, library, wi-fi facility was included in the fees. Being a 2 year course total fees that was to be paid including cost of admission forms & other things came up to 6.5 lakhs.

Yes, scholarship is being provided for all girls coming from any state under Uttrakhand scholarship scheme, other scholarships are also given if you have scored: Above 90 percentile in CAT Above 95 percentile in MAT Or 85 percent in 12th exam. Talking about loan yes loan facility is also there in college. No, I didn't avail to any loan.

Yes, college provides with extra co-curricular activities also, every thursday an activity is being organised like dumb charade, shipwreck, etc where all the students take part & are also awarded a certificate for the same. Sports events are also being organised regularly.

Yes, I am residing in hostel. There are double sharing and triple sharing rooms in hostel with attached washroom and balcony as well. Food quality is good and hygienic as well. Every day a new menu is there and in a week, non veg is served twice and also sweet dishes are served. The cost for hostel along with the laundry facility was around 80,000.

Semester exams every 45-50 days, quizzes & presentations are being scheduled regularly to keep the students busy & make them learn new things. Its a chill pill kind of schedule because along with assignments, exams & projects you also get chance to participate in various games & extra curricular activities.

The faculty was helpful n well qualified with lots of things to share. The teaching methods were simple like in schools. Student to faculty ratio was around 40:1. Teachers here have experience of 15-32 years. Teachers are very interactive & they come forward to guide you in a perfect way. The course curriculum was exactly what is required.
