overall a very good college but the problem is it is located far away from the city so that's the problem for the students, we feel tired at the end of the day and its hectic to co-up with the studies. Rest everything is fine, little bit strict also.
Entrance Preview
We had 3 main entrance exam that was kcet,jee mains and comedk,and we had some engineering college entrance exam,out of which I wrote kcet exam and got land up in this college,no while getting admission no interview we had,I took mechanical engineering as my future based course,which have huge scope in future,mechanical engineering is very much important.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering is evergreen and friendly course,this course has difficult subjects in engineering,only if you have any interest in mechanical parts,then only you take this course,but we have interesting subjects in this course,we aree focusing on practical learning,we have 2 labs,in our 1st semester,don’t know about research initiative,no idea about elective option.
Internships Opportunities
I don’t know whether college will provide any internship or not,if they provided internship then it will be good for us,we will get more and more training experience,if we do internship,no experience in internship,but my friends told we have to pay more for internship.
Placement Experience
My branch is mechanical engineering,before I joined this college,I asked my friend about placements,50% of students use to get placed,and less major companies visited for this course like tech Mahindra,as in india we have less scope for this branch,I don’t know about average package,but average package goes on increasing every year.
College Events
I don’t know whether they conduct events are not,my seniors told they have conducted 3 days fest in this college,it was well organized,and even college has contributed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My kcet fees was 56,000 rupees for this college and my college fees was around 25,000 rupees for my first year of engineering,for second,third and fourth year the fees will be almost be same,which included all the facilities,we have to pay our exam fees separately,I paid a exam fees of 1300 rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
From college side we have not got any scholarship,but college had helped in applying other scholarship which was given by government.
Campus Life
yes the facilities provided are good fro the students to explore their inner talents and these facilities hwlp the students get knowledge apart from the text book knowledge.
Hostel Facilities
i dont stay in hostel since i am a localite, i do up and down daily from mangalore it's some 20 kms far away from the college. The hostel is good as i have heard it has 2,3,4 sharing rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
yes there is a very good alumni network in the college and its active also yearly once we have the alumni meet.
Exam Structure
our scheme is CBCS scheme that too with the division of marks as 60 for external exam and the rest 40 marks for the internal exam, we have three internals out of which the best of two will be selected and the same will be sent to the university for the final grade.
Faculty
Faculties were average in teaching this mechanical courses till now,but they have lot of knowledge about the course,presentation skill is some how ok and fine,but I am enjoying their teaching,they are helping us a lot in our studies,we got good teachers in 1st semester,more interaction we had in first year.
