The campus is very beautiful and well decorated
The infrastructure of the college is quite good
Most of the faculties are helpful and they are very supportive

Dislikes

Some of the faculties have very bad behaviour
The field activities must be increased so we can learn properly
The labs have to be developed more for better practical

I'm very interested in agriculture when I'm in my 10th faculties are very cooperative and very helpful. All the faculties are PHD holders they teaches through projecter They were very cooperative in fild practical and teaches us very carefully

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 40000 per semister but if you get marks above 80 , 90,95 percent there is some facilities to get scholarship like 60 , 75 ,95 percent scholarship . There is no such any things any student can get this opportunity.

Campus Life

The campus life is very boaring. only one festival is heppen named freshers in our initiatives. books are available in library. There is no extra curricular activities in our department. Cmpus life is very boaring in our department but other departments in our college don't have the same issue

Admission

Admission process was smooth It doesn't took any entrance exam and also gave scholership based on the 12th board marks I find it with the help of my relative Maximum 70 percent marks in board exam and must be PCB or PCMB in their chosen subjects

Placement Experience:

In my University they provide us to seat for the interview of those recruiting companies after 3rd semester online so this is a great opportunity for us to have an experience event because if we read for 4 year course after 1 and half year only we are getting chance to say for the interview and the companies here comes for recruitment are very renowned companies companies like Flipkart Amazon Myntra and many others TCS consultancy they always to visit for recrating so I will suggest that the placement provide by the university is good and 75 to 80% of student getting successfully placed from the university into good companies and with an average salary of 6 lpa to 9lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

Insights of SNU

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
