Our college is an autonomous institution. Our college was established in 1947 BC. It is the first engineering college of gujarat. It stands in top 5 engineering colleges of state and top 200 colleges of nation

Entrance Preview

Actually, admission is done through a process done by ACPC. Entrance exam i wrote was JEE. By combining you JEE marks and your 12th standard result they provide you a rank and according to that rank you are given choice to select college and course of your choice. The following process is done online.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course chosen by me is Civil Engineering. On an average weekly 2 hours are given to practical learning and 4 hours are given to classroom learning for the subjects which are covering practicals.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. If you ask for any internship available, they do the possible for you. They allow students to do internship with any private organization during vacations. You are easily given a permission letter for the same.

Placement Experience

Number of students placed are very good. Out of total students of 2017 batch of civil department 60+ students got placed.

College Events

Every-year our techno-cultural named "UDAAN" is celebrated and organized by college. Celebration is for three days. Students from different colleges of gujarat also take part in various events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For civil department all the 120 seats are filled through ACPC process. So, fees are affordable. It cost around 5000 to 6000 INR per semester.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.
