College timing is very early. It starts from 6.15am.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I'm pursuing Chartered Accountancy. And hence I chose bcom hons in accounting and finance. Besc has the most qualified teachers, mostly are CA, CS and they are too student friendly. Term exams are held timely. And it's not too difficult to pass if we know the procedure.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't have much idea about internships offered and stipend because I haven't applied for any till date. But companies like Amazon, KPMG, infosys comes for internship as far as I know. I may be wrong I don't know.

Fees and Financial Aid

Besc charges approx 30000 per semester. That is 180,000 for the total course. Based on campus and everything, fees is not very high. They also provide scholarship based on some test I guess. I'm in second year.

Campus Life

Bhawanipur conducts it's annual fest in the month of December. Named Umang. This is the biggest fest for which all the students are excited for. There are alot of sports and extra curricular activities conducted. They have a separate sports arena to play.

Admission

Admission was on merit criteria. Based on class 12th percentage. There was 60% cut off. Application form and fees structure is available on college dunia website. No improvement required. College dunia provides with all the required services.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
