Course Curriculum Overview
I choose physics because I feel it perfect for higher degrees like Msc, PHD etc. As well as it is job oriented subject and I also can prep for govt job too. In class we have the faculty: students ratio is 1:44 Our physics faculty is quite better and I am just fascinated of their amazing teaching method and student friendly behaviour. As all of our teachers are PhD degree holders and some of them also continuing their research works. There are two internal and a final exam in a semester and there are such two semesters in a year. The question in the exams are not too hard at all; if a student regular attends the class can easily solve 80% of them and the left 20% is mainly practical or idea based of students.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a lab based course the fees is at around 3500/semester including course, tuition, library and all kinds of mintainance fees. It is really a pocket friendly course with a very good faculty and learning structure. For meritorious but economically weaker students our college also provided some special scholarships and discount on fees according to their subjects.
Campus Life
Our Annual Fest is mainly held in February. Recently in 2022 our college was celebrated marvelously it's 150 years foundation day. In our college Central library we get various reference book, research papers and journals according to each and every subject as well as more than four or five English and Bengali daily newspapers. In our college campus their is a basket ball and tennis court and availability of chess, carrom and such other indoor games in common room too. In our students socity there are seven different sub sections like student welfare, games and sports, science and technology, literature, girls' safe jone, magazine etc. and these are completely maintened by students.
Admission
The admission process is fully online based. After applying for the specific subject the temporary list is made. Then the final merit list is published according to the marks of board exams. The required documents are submitted through online. After completing these all procedure we have to go to college for offline verification. I think it's really perfect process of admission.
