Gave jee mains to get admission. You can find the application on the nta jee website. Yes, there is reservation. The admission process was very smooth and satisfactory. You have to score 99.5+ percentile to get a seat in the IT branch here at IIIT Allahabad
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty is highly qualified but they are not good at teaching. some aren't like any other govt college. The faculty-student ratio is 1:105. It's a lot. There are exams almost every week and mid-sems after 2 months.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know much about interships. I am a first-year student but I have heard the opportunities here are great and fulfilling. Everyone here is good at coding and most people here do competitive coding
Placement Experience
Placements here are good enough. The average package for IT reached 36 lacks here in 2023. It's pretty good. The number of students placed is also good. All kinds of companies come here like FAANG and many more
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are like any other college in the NIT+ system. It's decent enough. Although you can always apply for an education loan like I did. It's very easy. The placements here are excellent and one of the key reasons for students to choose this.
Campus Life
The annual culture fest is called effervescence which takes place every year in winters. This year it's being held in January. The library has a good amount of books and study space. Classrooms are good with full ac.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good. There are two people in one room. It does have all the facilities u want in a hoste room. It also has LAN for high speed internet. Mess food is decent. Sometimes it's good sometimes really bad.
